CHARGE!

Some things about me:

~I do happen to be writing my own books of original work... which often eat at my time, as well as drive me mad with the occasional bouts of fighting with the characters. However, while I adore my fantasy world I've created and put it above everything else... I will always love fanfiction. I can promise that any story I start will be finished. I'm not evil, contrary to the stories you may have heard.

~I can now be found over at LiveJournal under the name PerianFrost. Not much is up with it now, but I definitely plan on getting involved there! Look me up! I'm also on deviantart under the name FlynnSelt, though the idea of me posting anything on there is laughable at best.

~I am free to be a beta for anyone who needs or wants one, see my beta profile for more details.

~I love hearing from people, be it in reviews, PM's or even E-mails. I like to talk, as some of you may have noticed, and if you and I have something in common... well then, nothing will stop me!

~I am shorter than I'd like to be, though I am by no means a midget. I have blonde hair and blue eyes, and I like to -think- that I'm not ditzy because of it (though I do walk into walls with alarming frequency). I just started college, so that puts me at around... let's see... yep, 18. I'm also female, although to be perfectly honest, I have more of a 'guy' mentality... (read: I like me some explosions. And the girls toy aisles in the supermarket scare me. I have nightmares of drowning in pink fluffy pools while Barbies and Bratz come after me with chainsaws)

~I have a touch of the random in me (nachos!), and probably more imagination than is good for me. I've seen almost every horror movie they have at my local rental store, and that probably doesn't say much for the whole imagination factor (I watch them late at night and then curse myself as I jump at shadows). I like to bake, and despite the fact I rarely follow the recipe, I seem to be fairly good at it.

Favorites:

Movies: The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lost Boys, X-men, Transformers, Spiderman, Batman (Begins and The Dark Knight), Indiana Jones, I Love You Man, Yellow Submarine, Boondock Saints, Iron Man, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Fast and Furious movies, The Covenant, National Treasure 1&2, Bubble Boy, Brokeback Mountain, The Mummy movies, Across the Universe, Ice Age, the Terminator movies, Transformers, Over the Hedge, The Brothers Grimm, almost anything old-school animated Disney

TV Shows/Cartoons: Psych, Supernatural, Scrubs, MASH, Futurama, South Park, TMNT ('03 and '87) cartoon, Food Network Challenges (yummy and awe-worthy), Danny Phantom, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (and therefore Angel as well), Lost, The Simpsons (the old stuff especially), Avatar, Dead Like Me, Animaniacs

Music: Panic at the Disco, Linkin Park, AC/DC, Avenged Sevenfold, Beastie Boys, Fall Out Boy, The Offspring, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Savage Garden, Guns 'n' Roses, Metallica, THE BEATLES, Three Days Grace, Motion City Soundtrack, The Hush Sound, Eddy Grant, Lemon Demon, Phantom Planet, Cobra Starship, Eminem, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Nickelback, Ace of Base, Abba... Honestly, I have well over 8000 songs on my computer alone, I like almost everything.

Books/Authors: This one is tough... I've got well over 500 and have read at least twice that from libraries... Er... The ones that come to mind first it is then! JRR Tolkien, Stephen King's Christine, From A Buick 8, and Dark Tower series, RA Salvatore's Legend of Drizzt series, Dean Koontz anything, DJ MacHale's Pendragon books, Animorphs, Gregory McGuire, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Havemercy, Neil Gaiman, Eoin Colfer (the Artemis Fowl guy!), Terry Brooks... and VERY reluctantly, Harry Potter, which I believe began to go severely downhill after book three... four at the latest.

Other: Transformers. Oh my Primus, do not get me started on this. I adore it. All of it. Everything. Except maybe the '09 movie. The jury is still out on that. But other than that... melts into a puddle of fan-happiness I love cars, which may be part of the reason for the afore-statement. Muscle cars are my favorites, but if I see a Lamborghini... FWOOM, my jaw will drop, stars will appear in my pupils and I'll go goo-goo for five minutes. It's a scary thing. Airplanes as well. And ships. And... well okay, if it goes fast/is made of metal... I'll enjoy it. Ahem...

I also read a tiny bit of manga, though it is certainly not my main focus in life. The only ones I'm actually familiar with are Battle Royale and Inuyasha.

Least Favorites:

As noted above, and should be obvious by many of my movie favorites, the so-called 'chick' flicks. If I have to watch one, chances are I'll spend the whole thing giggling/face-palming.

Romance novels. I think that's enough said.

Steamed spinach. Also, enough said.

Special notes as of Whenever:

I have... SO many ideas I want to put into motion for the Transformers fiction. I'm just far too nervous to dip my toes into the water. I'm also determined to keep going on the LotR works I have in progress, because I feel bad for leaving them for so long. I may make a deal with myself regarding those... but who knows... I certainly don't because that would require planning, and planning things makes me break out in hives.

Individuality... great in everything except police line-ups.
