I"m an Canadian University student at Carleton University, studying Canadian History and with a minor in Aboriginal Studies and electives in Witchcraft studies which included a course “Witchcraft, Magic and Occult Phenomena,” at the University of Ottawa. I also have studied a bit into graveyards and cemeteries, and wish to do my Masters in that area. I am considering incorporating my studies into a story; I've seen some very nice History melded with Harry Potter, expecially ones where Harry goes back in time, such as when he gets involved with WW2 (Altered Destinies by DobbyElfLord). Very nice.

Would people like that? I'd either do an story where the main character works with Cemeteries, or where some of the characters incorporate pagan magic in with the Wizard version of magic taught at Hogwarts?

I am also thinking of writing stories from a first-person perspective, like Snape. Scowling, snarling and insensitive, dreary and dark. It'd be so much fun... After I finish these stories...

I fell out of writing for a bit. But now my head is on right again, I can continue writting : )

I have completed my "Awake in another World", a story about Harry waking up and suddenly finding himself with a family, different friends, but a still active Voldemort. It's fun. I'm only releasing one chapter at a time though. It's an angsty story, its growing plot is very different them my other stories. I'm still new to writing so I have not yet found a specific writing style that fits me.

I am now actively writing "Forgotten but Never Lost ". Its very different then "Awake in another world". Hermione's the main character, and you find out what's happened to her as she does. The plot is ongoing.

THen... Well, I'd be open to suggestions. WHich story should be worked on. I'm tempted to delete a couple of my very short stories that I haven't touched. Unless people specifically want me to develop them? Otherwise, I'd start fresh, and do what I did for "Awake in another World', where I write the entire story before releasing any chapters, that way I don't leave readers with an incomplete story (Since I HATE that when it happens to me).

Honestly too. So if I notice mistakes or weaknesses, I'll point them out, but I will also point out strengths and wonderful parts. ANd if I say you're Story is great... I really mean it. I've read too many of these to count, so I can judge : )

Opacre and Qye by Shades - Darkness engulfs Harry at age five...but not evil. A person comes into his life, a friend, family...maybe more. Why did he forget? SLASH, Complete. Then, PreOotp, Slash. Fifth Year has arrived for Harry Potter and he's ready for the usual things like Ron and Hermione's fights and Voldemort at the end. He's not ready for the DADA teacher and the changes she'll bring.

Wonderful Story. Works with alternate personality Harry, his real one which is buried, then let out later when his memories come back. Very well done, in character. Awesome secondary characters. Vampires well done, not cheesy. All time favorite Fanfiction.net Harry Potter story!

Wonderful Story, well written, and the AU characters are well written and incorporated into the story. None of this Mary Sue things where the new characters are perfect and the whole plot of the story surrounds them. Well done.

Neville and Luna stories

Radishes and Turnips by Kerrymdb - Complete! Neville Longbottom always seems to blend in with the crowd. Set during his sixth year, will he finally be able to stand out? This was written before the release of HBP.

Again, very well written, focusing on Neville. Plot's good, Luna is definitely in character. I hate it when people make Luna so.. Normal. Well done Kerryndbl. Not fluffy.

Luna's Hubby by Meteoricshipyards - 7 year old Luna wants a husband, and she wants one now. With the unintended help of her befuddled father, she kidnaps Harry Potter. Idea and 1st chapter by Roscharch's Blot

Very light, fluffy, Luna Style story. Nicely done, carried through Hogwarts.

Very cute story of Harry vanishing himself off to Snape, who becomes the only person who can see this baby Harry. Wonderful bonding story. Snape stays Snape to all by Harry, which is refreshing.

Very good "Snape Helps Harry" story. Good angst, good unique plot, in character. Definitely recommended.

The Tiniest Wish by BrennKinn - The tiniest wish can make all the difference. A Slytherin-sorted Harry, a not so soft Narcissa, and a very, very large familiar are just a few things to take note of when Severus does not automatically see James Potter when he looks at Harry.

Again, another very good "Slytherin's help Harry" story. ANother favorite of mine.
