Author has written 14 stories for Gundam Wing/AC, Digimon, Stargate: SG-1, and Final Fantasy VII. Heyla, I'm Aiko. Or Shini, depending on where you know me from. Having recently graduated from college, I'm currently a cashier at a deli/sandwich shop and otherwise staring at the rest of my life and going "Well, now what?" My dream is to teach writing at a college or University level, and to some day open up a bookstore dedicated to the nerdier side of life; science fiction, fantasy, magical realism, tabletop role-playing games...whatever crosses my path. I play in a text-based online RPG called Suits of Decadence, which is loosely based upon Alice in Wonderland; you should go join it and tell them that I sent you! This doesn't mean that I don't enjoy reading a well-written romance, of course! Fandom-wise, I'm heavily involved in Gundam Wing and, recently, Final Fantasty VII, with lesser interests scattered all across the board as I find them. The Gundam Wing muse is currently taking a well-deserved rest, as I've been intensely into the fandom of that show for a good seven years, leaving the recently-arrived Final Fantasy VII muse as the major focus of my attention. I'm also doing my best to write a lot more often than I ever did for Gundam Wing, if only because I've gained a lot more discipline toward sitting down and writing now that I've had to do it on a regular basis. I will tell you this now: I have a short attention span. In fact, I officially have ADD, and because of that I have the propensity to get board quickly and lose my focus. This means that I will be doing my best to avoid posting any sort of multi-chaptered fanfic until I've finished writing it, because I've too often gotten started on an epic or two and then left it molding in the back of my harddrive, never to be touched again. In other words, expect one- or two-shots from me whenever I get off of my butt and post a finished story. Because I am a Writing major, I appreciate any sort of constructive feedback that my reviewers offer me, whether it is a, "I really liked (this part) of your story," or a, "(This part of your story) could use work, and you can improve it by considering (this) or (that)." I use reviews like that so that I know what I need to work on, because writing is a never-ending process of, "What can I do to make this better?" On a completely different topic, my stories will contain homosexual relationships for the most part, or no romantic relationships at all. This does not mean that I disagree with heterosexual relationships, nor does it mean that I will not write them; it is merely that I tend to prefer the homosexual relationships. I will warn for both homosexuality and heterosexuality in my stories, so that my readers will not suddenly and unexpectedly stumble across something that they really don't enjoy. If you disagree with my choices, I will respectfully ask you to keep your opinion to yourself, because I will never attempt to change the opinion of someone else, and I would prefer it if others would extend me the same courtesy. There are several stories in my FF.N archive that will never be continued, if only because I have lost interest and drive after so long. Wolfwalker and Silver Moon are travesties that deserved to be enshrined forever as examples of, "What not to do when writing fanfiction." Return to the Frontier may some day be continued, and I actually do have the extreme rough draft of the sixth chapter on my hard drive somewhere. Maybe eventually I'll dust it off and continue it!
