Pairings: Anything non-canon, as long as it's well-written, too. But I can put up with canon pairings if they're well-written and the characters aren't just automatically thrown into each other...though I guess I did that with Thin Line...

Dislikes: People who dis pairings just because they're non-canon. If it's well-written, any pairing is good, in my opinion. And, also in my opinion, non-canon pairings are more difficult to write (and keep characters in-character and believable) because you have to make people like and believe them. Also, canon pairings tend to just be thrown together because, since everyone expects them to get together, people think there doesn't need to be any work done to put them together...if that makes sense. It's done with non-canons too, but in my experience is done more with canons. But that's all me, so...whatev.
