8/20/08 Okay, so I've become much more multi-fandom now. Sorry! I still really want to finish all of my Obi WIPs, but lately all I can think about is Dean and Sam of Supernatural. It's a bit of a problem. You can follow my day-to-day struggles at my livejournal: http://maychorian.livejournal.com. Friend me and I'll friend you back, because I am trusting and gullible. I try to post often, and usually attempt to be somewhat entertaining. I'm not keeping a diary, detailing what I ate for breakfast and how the weather was. I tell stories about my life, but they're supposed to be interesting to more than just me. (If they aren't, let me know.) I also have some little fics there that I haven't posted here because they don't seem worth the trouble. And I try to respond to every comment.
9/7/06 Yes, I'm still here! Sorry I haven't posted anything for so long. My laptop has been in the repair shop since last May. I keep hoping to get it back, but I haven't yet. A half-written Unchosen chapter is on there, just begging to be finished. I still promise that I will not (permanently) abandon any of my WIPs. In the meantime, I've become obsessed with a new fandom: Stargate: SG-1. It's delightful in oh-so-many ways, particularly for the delectable Dr. Jackson and the irascible Colonel O'Neill. So expect some of that coming from me, too. This first post should be readable without knowing anything about the series, so if you feel like it, try it out! Thanks for reading! I greatly appreciate all of your support over the years.
9/27/05 I've noticed lately that sometimes ff.n won't let you see stories past the twentieth chapter. Very annoying. But anyway, The Unchosen is also posted here: http://boards.theforce.net/Before_the_Saga/b10475/20049795/p1
Membership is free, if you'd like to leave me feedback there. I love feedback! I'd kill for feedback! Okay, maybe not kill. But I also reply personally to feedback there, if you like that sort of thing. And it's a fun community, too.
8/8/05 Just to reassure you--I will not abandon any of my WIPs. I know how frustrating it is to be reading a good story and suddenly come to the end and realize that it hasn't been updated for months or years. I hate that and I would never do that to my readers. The thing is that I sometimes don't know WHEN my stories will be completed. Like my lonely little HP fic. And no, I don't work with outlines, really. I start out with a vague idea of what I want to do, then figure out the plot as I go. I usually start with an ending in mind. But again, this lonely HP fic is different. I started it on a whim. But I will finish it. Just don't expect regular updates, is all. Though more reviews motivate me to write faster. :) I don't mean that to sound like a threat--it's just a fact of life.
(Long, boring profile has been deleted. Visit my website or LJ if you are actually interested in who I am as a person. I'll just keep writing info here.)
Things you can expect to find in my writing:
Angst
Mush
Childhood trauma (focus on the healing process)
Father/son and big bro/little bro bonding
Fights
Lots of dialogue
ABSOLUTELY NO slash of any kind
Okay, so I was bored, and I started thinking about which of my current fics came when, and I decided to make a chronological list. Parentheses indicate unposted stories, and slashes indicate AU. Exclamation point stories are only at www.theforce.net, yet, though I may post them here in the future.

Notes on my WIPs:
Familiar Strangers: As you may have guessed, this is my main project right now. Obi-Wan really has a great dynamic with all of SG-1, as I knew he would, or I wouldn't have started writing a silly crossover. It looks like it's going to be a fairly tightly-plotted, self-contained story, more like "Candles" than "Unchosen." The chapters are twice the size of my usual ones, though, so it might take me a couple of weeks for each new update.
The Unchosen: Though I haven't written for a long time, I still love this story and I am going to finish it. It feels like it's winding down now, so all's well, right? Oh, and if you haven't read this story because you're wary of AUs, let me assure you that this one keeps the characters in character, at least as I write them. It's just a little what-if storyline, and a lot of things have changed, but Qui and Obi's relationship is pretty much the way I always write it. Just a little more emotional than usual, maybe, because Qui is not a Jedi and feels no need to be serene.
Rushing Wind: I still have a few loose ideas for this one, so expect more vinettes on a sporadic basis.
New Hope, Only Hope (a collaboration, in favorites): Yep, it's my turn! I need to figure out what's next, don't I . . .
Severus Snape Did Not Like It at All: Another story that I work on "whenever I feel like it," which isn't often, obviously. This has the potential to be another huge long epic, and just the thought of it makes me tired. But I love writing Snape--he's so very acerbic, and his point of view is unique and interesting. And of course, I just love writing childhood trauma, and poor Harry has been through heck yet again with me. I've started it, though, and I'll finish. Just don't expect regular updates.
