7/7/10 - Part two is almost finished.

After the World Burns - Movieverse. Title tentative. Starts after the end of the movie and spans around six years. It's divided into two "books" - the first takes places only a month after the movie, with Dave trying to re-adjust to normal life and Mindy experiencing it for the first time. But Chris D'Amico has given Dave his own supervillain to fight now, and Kick Ass may have to get back into the game before Hit Girl decides it's her turn to play.

The second "book" finds seventeen year old Mindy struggling for her own identity in the shadow of her father and the enemy she couldn't kill, Dave re-evaluating his decision to retire Kick Ass and the possible choice he may have to make between the costume and Katie, and Chris walking the line between villain and hero.

Main Pairings - Eventual Mindy/Chris, Dave/Katie, Erika/Marty, onesided Todd/Mindy.

Beetlejuice

Untitled - An entirely cartoon verse story with some details taken from the movie, and the presence of Otho. Lydia’s parents discover the truth and the Neitherworld ends Beetlejuice and Lydia’s friendship. Four years later, she returns to a Neitherworld unlike the one she left, filled with secrets and danger - while a shadowy figure haunts her house, searching for the soul of a ghost long gone…

This is my take on an older!Lydia fic, and actually originated from an idea I had as a little girl when I used to watch the cartoon on TV every day. The story itself is rather dark and dramatic, but it won't be entirely without humor, and it definitely won't be without some Neitherworld craziness as it gets going.

Transformers (2007 movie)

Nightfall - Based solely in the movieverse, but completely disregards Revenge of the Fallen. This strictly follows the 2007 movie, and contains bits and pieces from the movie comic series like Alliance and the prequel to the first movie. Sideswipe's background comes from Tales of the Fallen and the personality he has in my fic is inspired by it. There are no twins, no bike sisters, no Leo... I could've added Arcee and thought about it, but decided I would rather focus on a small group of Autobots because I like to focus on character development. This is one of the reasons Optimus is written out for almost the whole fic - I wanted to explore the others.

The focus is on the friendships between Ironhide and Lennox (easily the main characters in the story - really, it's all about them) and Bumblebee and Sam, with Maggie, Mikaela, Epps, Sideswipe and Ratchet all playing large parts.
