Hey, y'all! This is me: Sarah, or just Daelena. Currently, I am a fairly broke college kid, who is going for a double degree in English and Classical Studies.

Daelena is an Elvish name I picked for myself that means 'Shadow of the Stars.' Which leads me to say that I am a huge Lord of the Rings and fantasy fan, for anyone who particularly cares about that. I also Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Anne Bishop, Dennis McKiernan, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and a whole bunch of other stuff. Ask my family, they'll tell you I'm a literary nerd and that I'll always be one. And recently, I've become quite addicted to the steampunk style, going so far as to incorporate it into my 2009 NaNoWriMo story.

I'm kind of a semi-nuts, slightly off-kilter, random person. Add to the fact that I like people to use proper spelling and grammer when they speak/write, and you've got someone who gets ticked off when people write fics who don't spell right. I'm sorry, it really does tick me off.

I am also a fan of the machnimania (sp?) 'Red vs. Blue.' It's become something of an obsession for me. My favorite character of the bunch would be Sarge, leader of the Red Team. And if you know anything about 'Red vs. Blue,' you'll know that he's tough and all. Which makes my life even more interesting, considering the fact that my room-mate is also a RvB fan. Her favorite character is Caboose, the village idiot of the Blue Team. Stupid Blues

Other than that, I'm a pretty open kind of person. I'm fine with slashes in stories, just as long as they're well written and fairly passable. I'm all for that.

Originally, I had planned on posting a Spirited Away fic, but since I haven't really posted anything in years, the Spirited Away fic has been cancelled, as the computer on which it is stored has been moved several times and I don't have ready access to it. Besides, it probably wasn't that good to begin with, and was in need of editing. However, if you do want it to be posted, let me know and I'll re-write it and put it up, since I do now have a personal laptop.

The Buffy fic has been put on hiatus, since I haven't really had any chance to think about it for a few years now and I'm not at all inspired to write anything else for it.

For anyone who likes my Stargate Atlantis fic, and has any cool ideas that they think would go well with it, there's a forum that you can post ideas to. I'm always open to new ideas. It keeps me going and keeps me inspired. I really do draw a great deal of new ideas from ones that other people give me. Honest!

I've got a few other ideas mulling about my head that I'm going to put up. Stay tuned!
