Bonjour, mes amis!

My name is Arcadia and as many of you know, I'm a fanfiction writer. :) Then again, isn't that why we're all here? I've been writing stories ever since I was about four or five, so I've got some experience with them. I first seriously started writing fanfics when I was in middle school and over the years since then, I've been improving on myself as much as I can. Though, honestly, there is always room for improvement in my writing abilities and techniques. Everyone can improve. Everyone.

The first fandom that I started writing seriously for was, of all things, Pokemon and I may or may not revive that old fanfic of mine. I've a dreadful passion for Mewtwo, even though I'm twenty-two now, for I simply loved him in the movies. He was awesome! How could you not love him?! From Pokeman, I graduated onto Dragonball Z, but let's not go there in terms of fan fiction. None of those, unless heavily revised, will ever see the light of day. Ever.

I stuck with DBZ for a long, long time (and still do. Some day, I'll write the story of one of my favorite and original characters.) until Inu Yasha came along and then that sprouted more interest. Sesshoumaru, that ice cold princely beauty, has taken so many hearts and when I look at such stories as Tales From the House of the Moon by Resmiranda (which is one of the BEST fanfictions out there, though I'm definitely not a fan of the SesshoumaruKagome pairing, so go read it, now), I have standards to match!

And then came the age of video games in my life. Yes, like many fangirls who have played FF7, I have a fanfic for it, but the story keeps getting revised more and more in my head because I want to write something excellent, so it'll be some time yet before I likely sit down and type that one out.

My most famous of my fanfics is obviously "Gravitation". That fanfic was inspired by a roleplay between myself and a close, personal friend of mine who helped me shape Shayl into what she's becoming even today. (Five years, so far!) I've gotten horrible writer's block with that lately, so my muses have turned to other things until such time as I can start working on Gravitation again. I never abandon a fanfic if I can help it. I just let it sit and stew for a time in my head but sometimes that doesn't always work.

Probably my latest fandoms that I want to write a fanfic for are Pirates of the Caribbean, Assassin's Creed, House MD, Halo, Warhammer 40,000, Mass Effect, and Full Metal Alchemist.
