I've been on ff.net since 2004. I've had stuff up, taken it down, put more up, took that down, had nothing for a while, then finally came up with what I have now.

When I started ff.net I'd read anything in the Harry Potter section (I was a newb, be quiet). Pretty quickly I switched to canon-pairings-only Harry Potter fics, which I defended with a passion. Somewhere along the line I broadened my horizons a little bit, and eventually that broadening became a giant gaping chasm and now most canon-pairing fics tend to bore me to death (with a couple exceptions--for example, I like good Romy [X-Men, and I love Kid Flash/Jinx [Teen Titans).

My standards have also gotten a lot higher, thank goodness. I don't usually read OC fics, for example--there's an art to OC writing, and most people here on the pit haven't figured it out yet. Also, I don't read "EVERYONE GOT MARRIED AND HAD BABIES YAY" fics (btw: the Harry Potter epilogue for book 7? ew).

My fandoms include but are not limited to: Tamora Pierce, Harry Potter, X-Men (all), Batman/Batman Beyond/any Batman cartoons, Fairy Tales, Firefly, Robin Hood (BBC), House M.D., Sky High, Teen Titans, Big Wolf on Campus, Les Misérables, RENT, CATS, and more and more and more that I can't think of right now.:)
