FIC UPDATES

Twelvetide- Halfway done! Obviously, I couldn't keep up with posting one chapter a day, due to the business of the holidays. The fic probably won't be finished until after Christmas, but I can guarantee that it'll be done. c:

Alchemy- Will be updated in due time. It's not a top priority at the moment, but at least I can guarantee it'll be updated eventually.

Symphony in Several Movements- Hiatus'd for the time being.

Howl- Final chapter is underway. Just working out all the issues in it, and going over it with a fine-toothed comb so that it'll be super quality! I just want to end this fic the way it deserves to be ended.

Burn, Burn, Burn- On the fence with this one. It's currently on hiatus, though I don't know if I'm going to continue it.

Deus ex Caduceus- Permanently on hiatus. Actually, at some point in the not-so-distant future, I want to completely overhaul the fic. I still like the idea behind it, just not the writing style that I used.

It Started at 104- Going to be updated eventually! What I'd like to do is replay TWEWY before I go at this fic again. I really loved writing what I managed to write, and I'd hate to just leave it like that.

A World Not Our Own- Ehhh. One day, I plan on picking this up again. I think I was a little disheartened after the Beast Swords Arc of the anime. Though, it was fun to write, so even if I leave it be, I'll be pretty satisfied with what I have.

What It's Like When Worlds Collide- As much as I want to update this, I don't think I'll be able to. It was a lot of work, and most of it came from the absolute love I had for the Kingdom Hearts series at the time. Now that I'm not really into KH anymore, I'm pretty sure this one is going to just have to be left alone. I'm really sorry about that. :c It was one of my favorites.

F.A.Q.

Q: What happened to [insert fic here]?
A: Chances are, I deleted that myself. I've been cleaning this page out, since it was a huge mess. A lot of those fics were written I was either in middle school or very early in high school. Just to save myself some dignity, I ditched them. However, I plan on rewriting some or making something quality in their place! Yay!

Q: When are you going to update [insert fic here]?
A: Whenever or never. It really depends on what fic it is. I have a really terrible habit of not completing certain fics, which I've been desperate to break. So, there's some fics that I'm probably never going to touch again, for a variety of reasons. Maybe the subject doesn't interest me anymore, or I left the fandom, or maybe I just couldn't find the drive to finish it. A lot of it is a matter of motivation. So, please, don't be personally offended if I discontinued a fic you liked. I really do apologize. Although, if I do plan on continuing a fic, chances are it'll be up in the handy-dandy 'Fic Updates' section.

Q: Wow! [Insert fic here] kinda sucks! What's the deal with that?
A: Ah, yes. This can all be explained as simply the beauty of early adolescence. Unfortunately, most of the fics I've written were made back when I was around thirteen or so. Chances are, they're cheesy, or badly-written, or just outright horrible in every sense of the word. However, there's some I just don't have the heart to remove, and whenever I need some motivation, I take a glance at one or two and remember that what ever I write now is probably better than one of those fics ever could be. Siiiiigh.

Q: Can you be my beta?
A: Probably not. I don't doubt my skills as a beta, but I do doubt my own sense of commitment. It's not like you'd send your fic to me and get it back all nice and edited in twenty four hours. Chances are, with my schedule and aforementioned motivation, you might get it in a month. I do make some exceptions, though.

Q: Do you take requests?
A: I do, actually! I mean, it depends on the fandom, since I'm not in every single one in the universe. As long as it's a fandom I'm familiar with, doesn't touch on any super sensitive subject matter, and if it has a pairing, is a pairing I'm willing to write for, then sure!

Q: [Insert question about 'Child in the Snow' here]?
A: I get a lot of questions about this, even now at the ripe old age of twenty. Here's the deal: I wrote this fic when I was in 7th grade, when I was a delicate daisy at the age of twelve. It was also my first published fanfic and my most reviewed, which is why it's kind of a sentimental thing with me and why it still exists on this site. I was a freaky little preteen, chock-full of hormones and weird ideas. Did I really know what a Mary-Sue was? You better believe I didn't. Did I have very much finesse and skill in writing? Not particularly. I was writing it because I thought it was fun (which it was!) and because I really liked PoTO at the time. Yeah, now I can't look at it for very long without getting secondhand embarrassment and hiding my head under a pillow. So any discrepancies or questions about it probably don't really matter anymore, seeing as this thing is nearly a decade old. If there's a question you have that you honestly want me to answer about it, message me personally.
