NOTICE: To all those who think Homophobia is wrong and want to fight for a
better future for our gay and lesbian friends, please repost this into your
profile:

I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.
I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.
I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.
We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.
I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.
I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.
I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.
I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.
We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.
I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.
I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.
I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.
I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.
I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.
I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.
I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.
I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I did not have to always deal with society hating me.
I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.
I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.
I am the person who is afraid of telling his loving Christian parents he loves another male.

A black man walks into a cafe one early morning and noticed that he was the only black man there. As he sat down, he noticed a white man behind him.
The white man said, "Coloured people are not allowed here."
The black man turned around and stood up. He then said:
"When I was born I was black,"
"When I grew up I was black,"
"When I'm sick I'm black,"
"When I go in the sun I'm black,"
"When I'm cold I'm black,"
"When I die I'll be black."
"But you sir..."
"When you're born you're pink,"
"When you grow up you're white,"
"When you're sick, you're green,"
"When you go in the sun you turn red,"
"When you're cold you turn blue,"
"And when you die you turn purple."
"And yet you have the nerve to call me coloured"
The black man then sat back down and the white man walked away...

Hi, my name is Dog Youkai Jane. I'm from Doulgassville PA. I am a nerd about Doctor Who and Beauty and the Beast (BEST TV SHOWS EEEEVVVVEEEERRRR!!), Hellboy, Inuyasha, Twilight series, Abarat, The Host, etc. So many things to be a nerd about. sigh

Least fav. movies: Chick flicks.

Gender: Female. (For some reason people always think I'm male...huh...)

Fav. Sport: FOOTBALL! I LOVE playing tackle football with my friends. I also like archery and most other sports.

Fav. Band: Flogging Molly, Within Temptation, DISTURBED (WOOOOP!), Stabbing Westward, 3 Days Grace, etc.

Fav. Books: Way way WAY too many to count.

Hobbies: Reading on this fantastic site, writing on my laptop stories that will never see the light of day because my laptop has no Internet connection, hiking, playing football, (woop!) watching Doctor Who, (WOOP!) watching Beauty and the Beast (TV series ((WOOOOP!!))) playing with my pets, trespassing onto my neighbors corn field that has a path next to it that leads up to the wonderfully big and isolated hill that I go to so I can think, (He doesn't know, so don't tell!! lol) um, relaxing, sleeping, swimming,...OH! I absolutely LOVE the sea and every creature in it!! (Don't you just love the smell of the salty spray as it flies through the air after slamming against the rocks?) I also like these little funny short sayings like these:

-92 percent of American teens would die if Abercrombie and Fitch told them it
wasn't cool to breath. If you're one of the 8 percent that would be laughing your
ass off as you watch the others, copy this to your profile.-

white is the colour of little bunnies with pink noses

white is the colour of fluffly clouds fluffing their way across the sky

white is the colour of soft serve ice-cream in a cone

white is the colour of angels wings and Angels wings

white is the colour of brand new ankle socks fresh out of the bag

white is the colour of crisp sheets in schmancy hotels

white is the colour of every freaking god danged thing you see for endless miles and miles if you happen to be in Antarctica trying to save the world, which now you aren't so sure you can do because you think if you see anymore white- Wonderbread, someones underwear, teeth-- you will completely and utterly lose your ever-loving mind and end up pushing a shopping trolley full of empty cans around New York city, muttering to yourself.

“If you can’t dazzle ‘em with brilliance, you can always baffle ‘em with bullshit!”-Unknown

"My curiosity is aroused." -- Optimus Prime

-If you have ever had a mad laughing fit for no reason, put this on your profile- (This one is SO true for me)

If you've ever asked a really stupid, obvious question, put this in your profile.

If you actually take the time to read other people's profiles, put this in yours.

If you like singing songs at random points in the day, copy this into your profile.

If you hear voices of the characters in your head...copy and paste this on your profile.

I'm the kind of person who walks into a door and apologizes.

Did you know the average American only reads 3 books a year? If you don't believe that it's even possible to read that little, copy and paste this onto your profile.

If you're one of those people who get excited when you see just one review, paste this into your profile.

If you have ever stared at a computer screen for hours and hours reading stories that people who have no lives whatsoever and have enough obsession with something to write a story about it have written, and you are one of the aforementioned people, copy and paste this into your profile.

Though the notice above is something I strongly believe in. I have quite a few friends that are gay, lesbian, or bisexual and all I do is tell the females that I'm straight and not interested and we get along fabulously. The males are great to talk with about some guy's cute butt that just walked by...lol...

Well, for now I guess that is all I shall put up. If I change my mind and want to put more up, you shall notice. Ta-ta for now!!
