How I Fell For Naruto: It all started months back when one of my best friends began to spout crazy bullshit about 'Rock Lee' and 'Gai-Sensei' and the eternal spring of youth, YOSH! I decided that she was mentally unstable and blocked her chatter out of my head, going back to eating my vanilla pudding. But the word 'Naruto' followed me around everywhere as many of my friends discussed the merits of 'Rasengan' vs. 'Chidori' (WTF?). Then, just a few weeks later, I was flipping through my channels when something interesting caught my eyes. It was a girl, with bright pink hair and green eyes, bawling her eyes out. I was transfixed as she reached out to the dark-haired boy and admitted her love. I watched with bated breath as he knocked her out and dissapeared. And to my surprise, I felt angry. How dare he do that to her, that facking turd! That's how I fell in love with Naruto, with the help of Sakura Haruno and the Anti-Hero that is Sasuke Uchiha. They remain my favourite pairing and I will root for them to pull through. SasuSaku Forever.=

Sakura Haruno: Will always be my strong, sarcastic and hopelessly tragic femme fatale. She is the epitome of a teenage girl for me. Contradiction after contradiction. She's smart, weak, annoying, loud-mouthed, beautiful, delicate, determined, stubborn, sweet, cold, dreamy, complicated, short-tempered, protective, incredibly fierce and surprisingly intelligent. The thing I like most about her is that she seems real to me, not just a two dimensional character. She started off weak and annoying but she became strong on her own terms. She didn't have a kekkai genkai and she didn't have a demon locked inside her but she managed to rise above that. She rose above the disbelief and being overshadowed by her teammates. She became a worth-while kunoichi, one that has the potential to surpass even the Hokage. I find it completely plausible that Sakura could make jounin or even ANBU by the age of sixteen. So if a strong, independent Sakura scares you, please refrain from reading my fics.

Sasuke Uchiha: My knight in pornagraphic clothing. He is my favourite male-lead because he's everything a hero is not. A hero is self-sacrificing and does anything for the ones he must protect. Sasuke is selfish and cares only for his own revenge and settling the demons of the past. Sasuke is a Shakespearean tragedy waiting to happen, a man with such a tragic flaw that his downfall is inevitable. Thats why I make Sasuke Sakura's savior, because he needs that redemption more than she does.
