Ugh. I know I said end of November for Secret Keeper, and that clearly didn't happen. Soon, though, I promise!

Hi. Call me erm.

My sister is annoying talking animal. We cowrite sometimes. "Tower of Madness" is half hers, and partly mine is "The Many Themes of Fanfiction" on her account.

So... fanfiction. The first one I wrote was on "Deathcurse" (does anyone remember that site? I miss it. I loved the Zonkos section, and the slash section where people just wrote incest, twincest, and other types of bizarre pornography. Very little of it actually had same-sex partnerships. Talk about misuse).

It was in the romance section (love potions or something?) and it was called "The Triangle that Proved Fatal." Who WOULDN'T want to read that? It was about Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle. Crabbe and Goyle were in love, and Malfoy loved Goyle. I don't think that's even a triangle. Anyway, it ended when they all blew each other up out of jealousy (post final battle. Yeah. "The Triangle that Proved Fatal" was so epic that it spanned all seven Hogwarts years and the final battle, though it was a mere six chapters or so).

Indeed, I still remember one part of it - the infamous secret meeting of the lovers in the Astronomy Tower. Crabbe and Goyle meet there to talk about what a jerk Malfoy is, and then Goyle accidentally trips and falls out of the window. The narration went something like this, "Not knowing any curses, Goyle simply said, 'Curse!'". Crabbe tries to save him but falls out himself. The Golden Trio find them in the mud on their way back from Hogsmeade, and their levitation charms are not strong enough to carry Malfoy's henchmen to the Hospital Wing.

It was a very popular story. No, really, everyone loved it.

Now several random statements that pretty much sum my entire life up:

1. My soul belongs to JK Rowling. She owns it until I'm dead, and possibly even afterwards.
2. Disney also owns my soul. Disney has owned my soul since I heard the first notes of "Circle of Life". So now Disney and JK Rowling have joint custody over my soul - usually Disney gets my soul on weekends and holidays and JK Rowling gets my soul the rest of the time, but it's actually a pretty flexible arrangement.
3. The only things I love more than JK Rowling and Disney are the fuzzies. I love animals so much that I don't even eat them anymore. Mostly I post this to explain my "fur belongs to animals" picture, but also because once in a while you might notice some animal rights subtext in my fics. You have to put yourself in your stories -- it just happens -- and that's a big part of myself, so... oops. But don't take offence everyone; I'm only saying that we need to be nicer to our furry and feathered cousins. Also the scaly ones. And the exoskeletony ones.
