I have recently gone through my stories and removed quite a lot of them. I apologise if I have removed something you particularly liked, but I want this account to represent a certain standard of my work, and I didn't feel that a lot of my early stories lived up to that standard. My favourite authors: Oscar Wilde, J.R.R.Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, Joanne Bertin, Anne McCaffrey, Adam. F. Simes -grins-, Terry Pratchett, Mercedes Lackey, Neil Gaiman. My fics mostly contain some, if not a lot of, slash. If you're not into this then...well, just read the ones that don't say they contain it. It's as simple as that. Another point concerning my fic style - my cross-overs tend to mean I've taken characters from both things and created a story with them. I don't usually just substitute characters from one story into the plot of another. That said, I've got plans for an Antony & Cleopatra/Harry Potter x-over that defies this generalisation totally - but i generally... We're looking for people who are literate. Like really literate (Can we keep chat speak to the barest minimum, folks?) Also, you need to have read at least one of the Dragonriders of Pern books.The more you've read the better. It is a loose canon weyr. Pleeease don't apply with white dragons or mutations because it'd be a waste of time. Also, perfect characters with tortured pasts must be VERY credible to get past our application inspection. Important notice: We've got a new clutch about to be laid so Candidates would be welcome, not that this should deter anyone wanting a different character. Yung doesn't revolve around its hatchings so there are plenty of other plots going on and a thousand more waiting to be plotted. Our Healer and Harper Halls could use some more active members, and our Head Cook always needs more underlings, not to mention general weyrfolk, holdfolk, holdless, traders etc. So, all that remains if you to go apply!
