I happened across fanfiction.net a while back, and got hooked on reading the stories. Of late, I have been reading stories to my spouse as she's been engaged in various projects, such as jam-making: we both enjoy the stories, and we are thus able to make constructive use of the fruit from the trees in the back yard without her going crazy from the tedium.

I registered so I can submit reviews; it's very unlikely that I will find the creativity to actually write a story.

That said, I appreciate well-crafted stories; attention to editing and proof-reading helps reduce distractions from the story (IMO, of course).
