I have changed it recently because a painting very like this one is discussed in a chapter of Minion. The artist is Dante Gabriel Rosetti, and the title is 'Proserpine'. He did several with the same title using the same model. The painting is not as yellow as this scan makes it look. I took my pen name from Terry Pratchett's Going Postal, which defines a 'gevaisa' as a 'tomb of living words', and that 'when there is a critical mass of (words) they change the nature of the universe'. Also, 'enough words crammed together can affect time and space.' That pretty well sums up the inside of my head, because of all the reading I've done. | |||||||||
