Hello everyone, it's been a while hasn't it? I haven't forgotten this site - neither have I forgotten that I've plenty of stories that need updating. I'm working on it, really! It's just that I always get sidetracked.. but fear not, I will update. Eventually. I had a lot of time the past couple of months while on summer break, but alas I haven't really been able to sit down and think up plot. And with uni starting soon.. shrugs you know, these things happen sometimes :P

Thanks to everyone who's reviewed and sent me messages to update. I would really like to, but I'm something of a perfectionist. Everytime I re-read the things I've written, I feel this horrible compulsion to delete everything. There are very few pieces of writing that I can say I'm proud of (they're mostly jrock) and I'm very cautious about posting fics on my favourite series since I feel like I'll just be tainting the scene. I guess the older you get, the less confidence you have in your ability? (It seems that way for me lol)

Oh yeah. With regards to progress I'm um, working on the second chapter of my GinHiji fic. And the LaviKanda Jealousy one. Breaking Prophecy was written up some years back, but I've had to make alot of amendments to it because midway through I lost the plot. Also, my interest in TeniPuri has waned. Where I once used to squeal over Thrill Pair FujiRyo, I only find apathy and disinterest in its place. It's really troublesome when you want to write about something that you don't really care about anymore.

That being said, my all-time favourite series would have to be FF7. I'll never get bored of it. I still love it as much as I did when I first played it, and I guess it helps that the characters are all so likeable (except maybe Yuffie who irritates the shit outta me). I'll always find time for a well-written FF7 fic, particularly if they feature my favourite characters; namely Aerith, Cloud, Reno and Vincent. Unfortunately most Vincent fics are either Yuffentine or Cid/Vincent, both which I absolutely hate. Oh yeah, that's right. FF7 is also probably the only fandom where I can swing either way - yaoi fics and het both rock it for me. That's cos Aerith is all kinds of awesome, and while I'm no Tifa-basher, I think she doesn't hold a candle to Aerith. CloudxAerith is beautifully bittersweet, and ZackxAerith is happily tragic. I'm game for SephAerith as well, because it works. For yaoi pairings, it's got to be RufusxReno (if you've read nekojita's fics, you'll understand why), CloudxReno (there are alot of good ones out there) or SephxVincent (desolation brings them together). I want to write something for this fandom, but I don't dare. I'll only ruin it!
