Author has written 12 stories for Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Twilight, and Switched at Birth. My name is Coral Rowley, and for as long as I can remember, I have wanted to write. And while I wait for inspiration to strike with my own original characters, with plot twists and secret rooms and undercover detectives, I stick to writing what I know, and what I love. Well, I just happen to love Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, and Twilight. So far. I have immensely enjoyed writing for this website, and for others. It saddens to me to know that I don't write like I used to. Every day I want to change that. So I thought that maybe if I wrote why I love it here, it would inspire me to play with my favorite characters once again. Writing fanfictions gave me something when I had nothing. Back in the days when chapters and one shots were written in one of six tethered red 70 page notebooks, instead of a laptop. I carried those books around everywhere with me. I wrote constantly. It was like my own person haven of words of my own creation, that no amount of hatred for myself could take away. When I couldn't handle my own emotions, I would try to figure out how my favorite characters would react to things. I would strengthen their bonds, or write them into a beautiful scene that exist inside my head. I've also done a lot of reading here. I've read breath taking stories. I've read heart breaking stories. Mostly, I've just read stories that make me fall in love with these characters all over again, in a different outlet. Every story, every author, is a alternative outlet to the original thing that we all love and have in common. I guess, what I am trying to say is, that even if writing this doesn't inspire me to write again, that it inspires someone who has felt the way that I do. Someone that wouldn't be the person that they are, if it weren't for fanfictions. As dorky as that might sound! Hope you'll all be hearing from me soon. | |||||||
