Author has written 25 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Misc. Books, A Little Princess, Watchmen, and Marvel. Hello there. My name is Melissa, although I usually go by "bee" online. Although I dabble in other fandoms sometimes, my main love has been The Phantom of the Opera for many years. I first stumbled upon the story at the tender age of twelve (which has been twenty years ago now!), when I found a copy of Leroux's novel in the local library. Since then, I have watched, seen, or read nearly every incarnation of the story that I could find. My favorites are Leroux's novel, the ALW stage show (Ian Jon Bourg is the best stage Phantom ever, the end!), the Lon Chaney movie, and the Robert Englund movie. I dislike the 2004 movie and Susan Kay's Phantom, and don't get me started on the "sequel!" As for ships, I like Raoul/Christine and Erik/Christine about equally, although sometimes I lean towards one more than the other. I enjoy writing fluff, morbidity, and anything in between. I never know exactly what I'm going to end up with until a story is finished. You have been forewarned. :) Update 12/28/12 - I am still working on Das Phantom von Deutschland again, but I'm not posting anything until the story is completely finished. I'm also going back through some old stories and editing them slightly. :) Also, I just started a modern Phantom story that I'm really excited about writing (even though I always swore I'd never write anything modern!). | |||||||
