I loved the novel "The China Garden" not because the romance was sweeping, or the writing was brilliant (It was very good, though) No, I simply loved the characters, the power struggles, and the message of the book. I am not Liz Berry, nor is my style even remotely similar to Liz Berry's. She is a very gifted author, and I could never think that I could write half as well as she can. Therefore, when you read my story (or ies,I suppose) keep in mind that we are very different writers, and that I do not even attempt to copy her style. I hope you enjoy my futile efforts, and let me know what you think! It really helps!
