Holidays are coming up, and i'm broke. Figures.

So, yeah. I'm an artist, and a writer. Trying to get back into the groove of both, but it's not going too well. Anyway, i'm twenty-three, and reside in North Texas. Not going to school, so I don't really have any excuse for my laziness. It just comes naturally. Heh. Am an Aries/Ox, so that should tell you something. Luff A:tLA, Harry Potter, LJ Smith, Ugly Betty, and all the CSI's. Ummm...i like powdered donuts, and Lucky Charms, and live off of Dr. Pepper. I have four cats. Don't really like dogs. Good bands are Blackmore's Night, Stabbing Westward, Within Temptation, Nickelback, Lady Gaga, and George Strait. Favorite song of the mo' is Shinedown's "If You Only Knew."

I've been attempting to work more on my A:tLA fic "Becoming the Bull," but it's not going so great right now. As an author i highly esteem once wrote. to paraphrase, "my 8-year-old self has taken the helm, thumbing past the technical junk and screaming at me SWORDS AND KISSING AND BIG EPIC SCENES -foamatmouth-." In other words, i can't for the life of me get into all of the small, interlinking scenes that lead into the 'good stuff.' That's always been my weakness, and as they say: the Devil's in the details. I am a living testament to this, unfortunately. So if anyone's been watching and waiting for an epic update...probably not going to happen real soon. Why? Cos of that sordid, messy, sticky, confusing thing called 'real life.' I am it's unwitting victim (woe, woe is me!)

Also, Transformers and Firefly plot bunnies came up and bit me in the nose. It still bleeds if i have to blow it.

LATEST WORK:
Becoming The Bull: AKA "Feels Like Rain." A ton of one-shots, only a handful of which i can post without giving main plot points away. So i'll just do that, and in the meantime try my hardest to fit everything together coherently. THAT'LL be fun. -toph-

IN PROGRESS:
Untitled: New story? Not as such. It's actually a rewrite of Blood of Me, my old Night World fic. I grew a bit jaded with the original plot, and decided to revamp.

Wash Away: On fictionpress; an original story. It's got some pretty dark themes, but i think people will enjoy it overall. Hopefully. If ya'll don't go squick on me. I should have the first chapter up sometime soon.

Gravity: Coming along, slowly but surely. The narrator has a fondness for tangents, i'm afraid, so it's going to be a bit confusing for a while.

True North: Chapter three is done. Woo. Enjoy. Tell me if you want more. ;)

HAITUS:
Cigarettes and Spearmint: What to say about this one...if i feel like whipping up more D/G oneshots - maybe AU, maybe not - then i'll do it, and post it. It just depends. It was a mood thing. Otherwise, don't really expect this one to be touched for a while.

Heaven's Shadow: I think I'm just going to water this one down into a few chapters, instead of yet another epic. It makes my head explode to try and think of anything really detailed with this one, and I think I can create just as much impact with a short story as I could with a novel. So, meh. That, and it is now painfully AU. Oh, the heartache.

DEAD FICS:
Life Beyond and See No Evil: I've decided to drop them. They no longer interest me.

FUTURE FICS:
Not one, but TWO Transformers movieverse fics - one centering around Ironhide's involvement with the Lennox family, namely little (and then not-so-little) Annabelle. Been done? Sure. Still entertaining? Very much so. The second spotlights Mikaela, and her involvement with the Autobots after Mission City. She and Ratchet discover Decepticon remains outside the city, with only the vaguest energy signal proving the mech is still online. They haul it back to the base with them, for Mikaela to 'practice' her blooming bot medical skills on. Frankenstein-esque.

Sequel to Rob Zombie's "Halloween." His sequel not included. Revolving around Laurie's healing process afterwards, and the effects the ensuing trial has on both her and Michael.

A 10th Kingdom fic, featuring the first Red Queen and the Big Bad Wolf. My take on events.

Another Night World fic, about a young lamia girl who grows up on one of the enclaves. She begs her father for a pet, and gets saddled with an ornery werewolf cub. Chaos ensues.
