Okay, I've finally managed to get back to this after a ridiculously long amount of time. Anywho, I guess I should say a few things about myself, since this is a profile and all...

Seven things random things:
--> Music sometimes makes me write stories, regardless of whether I like the songs.
--> I'm rather fond of baking.
--> I like cake. Cookies might be better.
--> I think blue, black, and silver make a very cool flame, even though I can never find a good picture, and they are my favorite colors.
--> I like to RP, and I consider it the quirky cousin of fanfiction.
--> I keep track of the birthdays of the people around me because I just like celebrating with them.
--> I'm pretty concerned about being environmentally friendly, but there are times when I feel like we've done too much to save ourselves. (Wow, where did that one come from?)
--> Hoodies and fuzzy things make me smile.

TV Shows: X-Men Evolution (Why, oh why, did it end?), Pucca (A bit of a guilty pleasure, but it was funny.), Inuyasha, Case Closed/Detective Conan,
Comics: Reformed Archie Comics addict, sometimes the old X-Men comics (grew up with Wolverine and Marvel!),
Music: Currently in the process of rebuilding a lost playlist

Oddly enough, that's all I can think of... I'll come back to this. I keep adding things, at my whims...

Now, To Business (Wait, can I really call this 'business?')

Lately, I've been reading a lot more than I've been writing (lately as in, the last six months or so...), and I want to rectify that, even though I keep finding really good stories that I must resist. I seem to have some issue actually sitting down and writing things, so I've enlisted the help of a friend to ground me and make me write. In addition, I signed up for National Novel Writing Month, just to see if I could focus on a single story long enough to hit fifty thousand words in a month. So far, I'm almost batting zero, and it's only the third day.

I've been writing for about twelve years, maybe three or four good ones in my opinion, and original stories are what keep me away from fanfiction most of the time. Well, that and the rest of my life. I, like many people on this site, hope to be published one day for something that I created the characters and ideas for, but that is another day.

I've been reading and writing fanfiction for almost seven. Wow... I had a lot of ideas way back when I was just trolling the site, but now they've dwindled down. Eliminating a lot of repeats'll do that. I'm trying to get myself to write a story in another language, but, as of yet, I'm a procrastinating wimp, who likely needs to finish the English stories before she starts trying to get all fancy.

W.I.P. Story Statuses: I thought that this might be helpful to the people reading, and I'll try to update periodically or as I update stories.

The Truth About Kirara: Maybe

My Name's Gabriel: On hiatus. Too much Harry Potter mixed with Inuyasha floating in my head makes me mix up the stories, and seeing young Harry, old Harry, and confused Gabriel in my head is a very odd sight.

Harry Potter and the Jewel That Destroyed Worlds: On hiatus. Too much Harry Potter mixed with Inuyasha floating in my head makes me mix up the stories, and happy, chipper, powerful Kagome plus sad, depressed, powerful Kagome in one head makes one moderately bipolar, very powerful Kagome to deal with... not a good idea. This, however, may come back for a few times, until I can properly diagnose where it goes from here.

A Mercenary and A Miko: A Pairing Underdone: Okay, this one is already a collection, and I plan on continuing this one, when I get an idea for another.

Clash of the Rich and the Magical: I believe this too is in dire need of a name change, but I am actually working on this one. I've got loads of ideas for costumes (thanks to everyone who suggested), and I'm working on the next chapters now. I'm trying to work through the pairings at the moment since I'm trying not to make the characters OOC as much as possible, but I've got ideas for other chapters. I think I'll have to refresh my Ouran memory before I post the next one though, just to keep things consistent. Also, this is one I find myself working on from the middle, but I'm making sure to piece the patches together.

The Secret Weapon: Possible collection of one-shots, shall be updated when the mood strikes me. (Which will be rather inconsistent as I'm working on other things.)

Holiday: Yay! Just updated this story, and I'm working on Chapter 3 and 4 right now. I've figured out that if I just start at one place and keep going, I can divide chapter later, so I finished two and started three before I could consider two finished. It will likely be updated after the next chapter of either Holiday or Clash.

Update: November 30. (Sorry, no story. I really haven't had a chance.)

Me: Okay, so my computer has been down for who-knows how long... and I've had the chance, no the necessity, to re-evaluate some things, and I've realized that I'm terribly long winded. Sorry. I am re-adjusting my writing style, which should 1) shorten the stories significantly, and 2) make the updates a little quicker once I finally can sit down at a computer long enough to put to type the stories floating around in my head. As a rare treat, my beta has decided to grace my page with her lovely, flowing speech.

swpf: McMagicG is a nut job, though I love 'er, and also a bit of a drama queen, but she means well. I am urging her to finish the damn story as is and take a short break to re-evaluate, maybe read a good book or two, and hopefully come back with a shorter, more concise writing style that will take less than two hours for me to finish a chapter. Peace.

Me: To sum up, I'm trying like mad to finish the stories I actually still care about. The rest are effectively abandoned like bottles in the sea, hopefully to get pulverized by a whale... or some other marine life. Maybe they'll end up causing more global warming they are just that bad... Hopefully I've improved since the ones I am considering crap, but you never know, eh?
