These quotes are from Star Trek, whether it be books, movies, or shows.

If you don't know about ST, then skip over this section - I'm not gonna explain the details of each situation to you like I did for the shows/fics above. Anyway, I have enough quotes that I decided to dedicate an entire section to them...Live Long and Prosper.

Ambassador Spock is staying aboard the Enterprise while it's in orbit above Vulcan:
Jean-Luc: "The ambassador wishes to keep his presence on Vulcan...discreet. He sought no lodging; indeed, I believe he was prepared simply to sit out on a Vulcan desert. I convinced him of the illogic of that position when there is a starship with copious room in orbit."
Beverly: "You convinced him? With logic?"
Jean-Luc: "Well, perhaps it was more along the lines of he realized I wasn't going to back off from my insistance on extending our ship's hospitality. Although he might have considered dropping me with a nerve pinch. I can't be certain."

Okay - I've had my recommendation for Distant Shores up here long enough - it's time for a new set.

There's a group of TNG books that are really, really, REALLY (did I say really?) good:

- Death in Winter
- Resistance
- Q & A
- Before Dishonor
- Greater than the Sum

Zomigosh...those are so friggin' good... Death in Winter references some events from yet another TNG book, Reunion, but DiW is an essential read for any PC shipper.

The other four...well...does the phrase 'Resistance is Futile' ring any bells? I'm not gonna say much...only that the Borg are back...and they are pissed as hell. (Just like I was after finishing Before Dishonor...)

-1234567890-1234567890-1234567890-1234567890-1234567890-

I got this from passionateartist; she graciously allowed me to use it...

Aries - March 21 - April 19 - Fire
Taurus - April 20 - May 20 - Earth
Gemini - May 21 - June 21 - Air
Cancer - June 22 - July 22 - Water
Leo - July 23 - August 22 - Fire
Virgo - August 23 - Sep 22 - Earth
Libra - September 23 - October 22 - Air
Scorpio - October 23 - November 21 - Water
Sagitarius - November 22 - December 21 - Fire
Capricorn - December 22 - January 19 - Earth
Aquarius - January 20 - February 18 - Air
Pisces - February 19 - March 20 - Water

Unfortunately, as far as Avatar: TLA is concerned...I'm a firebender... I've been semi-proud of the fact that I'm a Leo and fire is my ruling element, but I had never thought of it in that way before I read passionateartist's profile...kinda jealous of her - she's an airbender... This is only the second reason I've ever found that is proof that being a Leo can sometimes suck...the other is that Shishio from RuroKen is also a Leo - but he's an August Leo, not a July Leo, so that's some consolation...

-1234567890-1234567890-1234567890-1234567890-

I have some great news for fans of my on-going fics!! My computer is back up and running!! YAY!! I know I cited my last school semester as being the reason (and that was true) but my comp was being such a pain in the you-know-what that I finally had my bf take a look at it. He ended up having to pull all my files off and replace the harddrive (which is a good thing, because right after he pulled everything off, the old harddrive kinda, sorta, uh...blew up...).

But the good news is that my files are all safe and I've used the downtime to get my creative juices flowing again - here's an approximate schedule of the next fics to be updated -

Why? - Inuyasha
Little Dagger - YuGiOh
Caverns of Fear - Voltron
For the One You Love - Inuyasha
Letting Go of Love - Rurouni Kenshin

There might be a one/two-shot in there...or two...

8/19/08 - The revision of Letting Go of Love is now in progress! I uploaded a new chapter one - the plot's the same, but I totally revamped everything else. Anyway, PLEASE r&r, would ya? I mean, if people from Malaysia are reading my stories, someone can leave a note, right? Thanks, guys (and gals)!
