Author has written 22 stories for Van Helsing, Misc. Books, Hellboy, Superman, Gargoyles, Dragonlance, and Pirates of the Caribbean. I write for amusement...mine and yours. Simply said. I'm a nerd too. I'm a very avid reader and writer, reading and writing and drawing. I'm a fan of the Sci-Fi fantasy genre. I'm an English major, so be prepared for a lot of allusions to different books and poems. About my interests: I like secondary characters and oddball characters more than primary characters. Don't know why I do, I just do. It's been that way since I could remember, and it will remain that way. I think it is because secondary characters are more faulty, in a way more reailistic or just more amusing to me than primary characters. I'm a sucker for oddball romances, especially those along the lines of the Beauty and Beast. I also like scary stories, funny stories, and stories that have a backbone in legends and myths (especially obscure myths). I'm willing to try different things if it will better my writing or skills. When not busy with life or schoolwork, I can be found doing arts and crafts, and attempting different styles of writing and drawing. Like I said, I enjoy Science fiction and fantasy, but I also enjoy biology, history, pyschology, and mythology as well. These can both help and hamper a story in the making. So I can be very fast at writing a story or very slow... Books: I love books. Postmodern books are currently my cup of tea. My favorite book is "The Minotaur Takes a Cigarette Break". I still break for Fantasy books, and among my favorites are DragonLance, Bazil Broketail, Harry Potter, and The Quintaglio Ascension Series. I greatly enjoy reading comics too, such as Gargoyles, Hellboy, Courtney Crumrin, Savage Dragon, and The Goon. Read the Goon, it's great! Movies: I'm a cult classic oddball movie and television series buff. I'm a fan of Tim Burton works, love Hellboy the Movie, The Thief and the Cobbler, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Chicago, Shrek, Jurassic Park the original film, Beauty and the Beast, and a bunch of other random movies. I like musicals such as Rent, Beauty and the Beast, and Little Shop of Horrors. Cartoons: My favorite series include Invador Zim, Gargoyles, the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Extreme Dinosaurs, Dinosaucers, Fullmetal Alchemist, Futurama, Cowboy Bebop. Checkout my deviantart account if you want to see some of my artwork (doodles?). They can be pretty random. | |||||||||||
