Author has written 7 stories for Card Captor Sakura, Naruto, Prince of Tennis, Saiyuki, Law of Ueki, and Harry Potter. Huh? Someone's here? Oh, sorry...Just read on... Milky’s Profile (Updated on 06/10/09) Now, it's been a really long time since I've updated. Both my profile and my stories. I've been having too much fun reading. I'm sorry, but I'm sure you all understand my sentiments...right? Anyway, if you'd want to know about me, I am a simple teenager who has Alexi as her first name and is now of legal age! But I'm still a teen! XP I like anime and manga as much as I like reading books. Though I think I'm more inclined to reading fanfiction than either of them. At least, I do believe I gained a good sense of humor from those, a bit of logic as well as a vast imagination, though I firmly believe that I can do a lot better in writing. And my new aim is to glorify the Lord by using the gifts He gave me! For the Lord:D At the present, I am most interested in reading Prince of Tennis fanfiction. However, I'll have to admit that Diana Wynne Jones has somehow written Howl's Moving Castle to become my favorite book now...so it's a favorite of mine for fanfiction too! Goodness knows how much I want to get my own copy now...sigh I also like role-playing in forums, not in games. I am not very good at any video games or the sort and I rarely play such unless they have a very good plot like Summon Knight Swordcraft Story 2, which I'm playing on a VBA emulator. I prefer that they make sense, thank you. Though I don't dislike a couple of racing games in the arcade. And DDR. DDR just rocks. I can't get enough of it! XD Music has been part of my life for a long time now and I simply cannot imagine myself not even humming a single tune everyday. Pop and classical music are my likes, though I don't really dislike any kind of music that is present. I love hearing sounds, even if it may be just the rustling of leaves or the dog barking in the neighborhood, as much as that gets annoying. But, really, I love music and I cannot write without it ringing in my ears. It has always been my inspiration and one thing I hope on writing is to involve music into my writing. I wish I could somehow write a story with it greatly involved. Favorite song (at the moment): "Friends" by Otsuka Ai Favorite books: Howl's Moving Castle, definitely. I'm afraid even Gregory Maguire's Wicked and Leaping Beauty don't even come close. Though they are favorites too, along with Anne Ursu's Shadow Thieves and The Siren Song, Louise Marley's Singer in the Snow, Nancy Moser's Mozart's Sister, Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl series (in particular, The Lost Colony--I've yet to read the latest one), Arthur Golden's Memoirs of a Geisha, and Kate Constable's The Chanters of Tremaris trilogy (most of all, The Tenth Power). The others...I just can't remember. Too many. But, as I said, Diana Wynne Jones' HMC tops them all for me. I'm still looking for the two sequels... Friends on FF: aeneid, bakazaruaddict, Nerva al'Thor, ANBUHound, Ashandra, kawaiiyuzumichan, Annika Ricaforte Lee, neon-chan, DarkstarShadowrose, Tsubome, kawaii gurl-11, Shadow's Rage, Animefangurl53, Gwynhafra, sleepyforest That and I have all my hats off to Emma Lipardi for her An Aunt's Love and SaphirePhoenix for her Harry Potter: The 'Boy' Who Lived and Hallie Potter: Secrets Revealed, (as much as in reality, I only have one hat in possession--but don't spoil my use of idioms). READ THEM! They're wonderful! Dare I call this an advertisement now :P But really, they're smashing. Heh. There is also Shiruba Fokkusu for Musical Magic (forgive me for having gotten the title mixed up before o.O). It has been wonderful and I cannot express how giddy I got when I found out there was such a story that was Harry-centered, a Severitus, and involved music at the same time. I commend you, dear author! If you are interested in Howl's Moving Castle, do try reading Iolanthe 8's stories. Sophie's Love is like a rewrite of the novel with more insight for Sophie. The Wedding Suit is just hilarious and so in-character and so well-written that I fell in love with it instantly. How the Witch Stole Christmas! and You're a Mean One, Miss Angorian are rather funny parodies. The latter made me imagine Howl singing...and just messed up my head with the off-tune version I kept on hearing. Sorry, Howl o.O I'm not yet done reading Rags of Time yet but it's quite the piece of work about how Howl's life could have gone before the book. I think that it's the best the author has written out of all the five stories. You made me fall for HMC all the more. I have to thank you for that! Keep on writing, minna! Good luck! Fanfictions in progress... I'll Be Home - I should really be updating this. I'll try and get back to it. Kiseki - It was a random idea and I should really be working on it. The first Law of Ueki fanfiction I have written and I think it's rather fun. I'll try to put up an update next month... Defying Prejudices: Submerge - I'm thinking of revising this. I've got quite a lot to fix in this... Kibou no Etoile - ON HIATUS. If anyone is interested in it and would really like me to continue, then I shall. I have my plot in mind but I just don't know if I should really push through with this. Random Quotes: "My heart?" She frowned, remembering. "It made too much noise. I wanted it to quiet down so I could talk to the dolphins." "Everybody is mentally ill." = From a friend. "That's it! My tolerance is at its limit! Being forced to constantly listen to a song you don't even like is certainly not beneficial to one's mental health." "When you mention anime, you automatically think of otakus. And otakus usually have sociological difficulties. Such people also tend to become reclusive. That is...by airing funny anime, they are mass producing anime otaku..And thus are partly responsible for the emergence of such a significant number of NEETs. (Note: A NEET is an acronym that stands for "Not in Education, Employment, or Training") "It's such a great day so I decided to hang out a bit! What about senpai? Is senpai having fun strolling around the gardens?" she asked, not even breaking her smile for a moment. "You can pick truth or lie and you can ask me a question. If you chose truth, I will strangle you. But if you choose lie, I will cut your head." "Shoes off, if you please, Master Harry, and hands washed before dinner." "Look...at...me..." he whispered. "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH!" ...she (Sophie) snapped, “I can clean the dirt from this place even if I can’t clean you from your wickedness, young man!” Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones Other contacts: milkyneondc (Yahoo!) If you'll need a beta, I think I could squeeze it in my schedule. Just leave a message in my email, milky.etoile.ff@gmail.com . Well, take care then! Please review on my stories! Ja, mata ne! Milky signing out! Milky Etoile ;) P.S. By the way, I'm promoting our role-playing forums here: The Third Floor Corridor - For Harry Potter fans wanting to meet fellow fans. I'm an AWOL member but I figured I'll try referring people still. If you've stumbled upon our humble site through this profile, please say that Mizumi Forrester referred you :P Thank you! There is one other...but I'm not sure I should post it. We haven't been active since a long time and I'm missing role-playing so...I'm improvising by writing new fanfiction. Yes, I'm writing new ones. I know I should be working on the ones I already have...but I just can't help myself. All I'm going to say is that I'll probably have TWO AU Prince of Tennis fanfictions and an AU Howl's Moving Castle by next month. Geh. I'm too fond of alternate-universe fics. Sorry :P Hopefully, I'd have updated Kiseki and Defying Prejudices by then too. We'll see. All of my subjects except one for this semester are science subjects. I'm hoping I make it through physics, chemistry, and microbiology at the same time. Only physics doesn't have laboratory time...sigh Well, I should be off. It's rather late. Though I'm not sleepy at all since I've practically slept the whole day off...I'm so hopeless XP Take care! | |||||||||||
