All about me…
Let’s see…28 yrs old (whoa, when did that happen)…losing my mind working on two Masters degrees simultaneously in Adult Education and Biomedical Science; yes, I'm completely insane. People tell me this constantly.
Have two cats, both of whom are crazy, my wonderful husband (formerly my mentor/teacher and 15 yrs older), and we all live in a recently purchased townhouse. That is brown. Like...brown. Hoping to fix that really soon; I've got grand plans to do in in Slytherin colors, because I'm that much of a dork. I work in antiviral research as my day job, where I spend time saving the world, writing 600 page reports, and trying not to kill my boss (who delights in giving me inhumane amounts of work, but bribes me with chocolate and cognac). I am a Lab Ninja. My cubicle is the stuff of legend, and can be seen on my myspace page. That my little sister made for me, because apparently I wasn't keeping up with the times.
I've been amazingly lucky and met some awesome people through fandom. Despite geographical complications, I've managed to meet almost all of them in person, too! I ship Sara/Grissom (CSI), House/Cameron (House), and Hermione/Snape (Harry Potter). Thanks to a well-meaning "friend" (coughRickmanlover24601cough), I'm completely hooked on Doctor Who (10/Rose for the present). She yells at me because it takes time from my HGSS fics, but she still loves me. For the record, it's not right to have so little time for fic!! I love being a beta. Need one, e-mail me.
