Author has written 3 stories for Tales of Symphonia.
Sorry that took so long... I've got a summer job now, so I had to get settled with all that before I could get back to work on the story. Finals went well though.
Real Me Profile:
Name: None of your business.
Aliases: ObviousMan, Breezy, Anonymous
Personal Statistics: 5.6, male, semi-legal resident of small blue planet 3rd from star Solaris.
178 hp, 125 mana. Resistant to fire and water, weak against fluff.
Likes: Reading/Reviewing, critiques, argument (One of those types that would start an argument over anything; don't take it personally.) food (almost all), traveling, romantic dramas that are either deep and thoughtful or fluffy, fluff must have warnings beforehand so I know I'm reading fluff.
Dislikes: Those that flame with no evidence or comments but just "I hate it DIE," writing reviews that sound even slightly like flames (I hate flaming, it feels like I'm squishing someone after all the work they put into their fics), WRITER'S BLOCK, HellWeek (the week before Easter Break where the school makes up for all the snowdays you missed by piling on the work), ONIONS (spawn of the UnderDark they are), stereotypes of all kinds except when true. (Like an ACTUAL dumb blonde or miserly Jew.)
Typical authoring topics: Usually write Gesea fics, trying to rise above mere fluff into some deep thoughts and concepts. Occasional failures. As soon as I'm finished with Alone Together, may venture into other couples.
Notes to all:
1) If you read a story, leave a review. Not just mine, but all stories you read. It's an encouragement for the author, telling them that you really did read their story and its not being ignored. Otherwise, we think that no one reads our tales and stop writing/updating. Rant over.
2) Don't judge a story based just on what couples it has. It doesn't matter what coupling it is as long as it's well-written and has some basis in plotwise fact. That being said, there are some pairings that simply don't work:
Zelos/Anyone Male. Why? Zelos is a womanizer; its his ƒ®¡çk¡n job. Him being gay makes little to no sense. No, I'm not homophobic; I just can't see a Zeloyd, Kralos, Zenis or Relos actually working.
EDIT: ...upon closer inspection upon a re-playthrough, I am forced to conclude that a Zeloyd might be possible, but only if you really squint hard and analyze every aspect of everything that Zelos does and Lloyd's reactions.
Regal/Anyone. Why? He's still grieving over Alicia; once the shackles come off and he forgives himself, then maybe a Regal/Someone pairing could work.
Sheenis (Sheena/Genis): Because it would be terrifying. Not "eep" terrifying; I mean like cower-in-a-corner-with-a-pillow-over-your-head-fearing-for-the-sky-to-fall terrifying. Genis is 12, Sheena is 19, and neither of them have even looked at each other. ...that and Genis belongs to Presea.
Presegal (Presea/Regal): Regal was in love with her sister. Last I checked, once your fiancée dies you don't go hit on her sister, especially when said sister is 12 and you're in your thirties! WRONG! ...that and Presea is Genis'.
Zelette (Zelos/Colette): Think for a moment. Colette is innocent and naive. Zelos is a lecherous perv. Do you honestly think there would be any real romance here? I didn't think so.
Current residents of Psyche:
¿ObviousMan?: Right-brain chaos given form, the ObviousOne is my emotional, creative core. He's the half that writes.
ß®££§¥: Left-brain logic granted a voice (and there are times I wish it wasn't), the BreezeMan is second-in-command and generally in charge of reviewing. Also known as my personal Grammar Nazi.
Turen Darastrixia: Turen is a draconoid (humanoid dragonkin) from the northern mountain kingdoms, who, through a freak accident, lost his one true love and his body in the same blast of pyrotechnic misery. His ghost, unable to find rest, has taken up residence in my brain. He is now my Muse of Angst and, along with Nailo, is responsible for my anti-prejudice sentiments.
Halbyr Ramsley: A former ShadeWeaverGhostWalker now-turned-thief, Halbyr was trying to break into my house when the security system activated and he was electrocuted to death. His wandering spirit has taken up its residence in my psyche, where he has fallen hard for some of my planned stories. He is now the Muse of Adventure.
Nailo Voraster: A female half-elven mage who recently retired to write a romance novel. She died when one of her magical devices backfired, burning her house (and book) to ashes. Unable to rest until she has had a hand in writing a romance novel (to make up for her lack of love in life), she has taken up residence in the mind of the local author. (Me.) She has become my Muse of Romance.
l33t m45t3r f0n9: The local gamer and h4x0rm4st3r, f0n9 was burning his pirated copy of Metal Gear Solid: Title Classified by Copyright Law when his computer crashed. After his heart attack and subsequent death, his ghost moved in to my head, where he spends his days laughing at my pitiful g4m3r skillz. Fortunately, he only speaks l33t, which means his comments fall on mostly deaf ears. j00 90t pwn3d, f0n9. b3wh4h4h4h4h4.
Jenson Alvarest: The first of his kind for me, a purely imagination-built muse. Aside from being the butler back at the AuthorCave, Jenson is the Muse of Meticulous Detail, making sure I don't lose track of things in my stories. If it weren't for him, I'd probably not be faring so well. Thank you Jenson. You may return to your duties now.
