As an author: I've been writing since, like, forever. Actually, you could say I've been writing since before I could write. Way back when I was so young I can barely remember anything, I'd come up with little stories and my dad would write them down for me. I would then illustrate them with crayons. We still have those in the basement somewhere. My sister (Robyn) did this, too.

I wrote my first story without any guidance in the first grade. My teacher was very impressed, despite all the obvious mistakes. In second grade, I wrote a poem that, again, impressed my teacher. It was published in a children's poetry anthology...though I really dislike it now. I think it sucks, but hey. I was 8. Come to think of it, pretty much all my teachers through the years have been impressed with my writing, even in high school...I guess they're used to people that just don't have any passion for it. I've always loved to write, and it shows.

I write fiction, poetry, and songs. Every so often I'll write a random little...thing, nonfiction. It's hard to describe. Inspiration usually comes to me while I'm in the bath. I'll go into a state of deep thought, and by the time I come out of it, over an hour has passed, the water is cold, and my toes are wrinkly like nobody's business. If it's not while I'm bathing, it's while I'm trying to sleep. I think the plotbunnies are plotting against me. I wouldn't put it past them.

Yo. Again, I'm not gonna bother with apologies and crap. It doesn't accomplish anything.

I'm only gonna use this for mentioning when I update or post fanfiction now because I've got a journal thing on Gaia (you can get there from the "website" link above) for random stuff. A journal I actually, you know, POST in.

I guess I didn't say anything when I posted the Avatar oneshot, huh? Oh well. In any case, I've just posted a Naruto oneshot. Yay.

Hey, all. I've gotten into the Transformers fandom. I think I'm nearing the epitome of femgeekhood. Not that that's a bad thing, of course.

I just updated some crap on my bio. Yay me. It's about time, really. You know, it still said I'm seventeen, and I turned eighteen in JULY. I'm not sure whether to be amused or exasperated with myself... eh, I'll go with amused. It's never failed me before, yo.

In regards to my personal life, I was about to post a big long thing, but it got too long so I'm posting it in my Gaia journal instead.

On another note, it just randomly de-bolded and de-underlined some of the stuff I added to the Big List O' Fics. I can't seem to change it and get it to stick. X(

There has been little writing of fics lately. This is partially because I've been writing more poetry and songs, partially because I've been focusing more on my schoolwork, and partially due to a general lack of inspiration. Also, I've started an original work that will hopefully develop into a full novel, or at least a novella. I've got the characters, an original plot... I should probably work on an outline next, you know, to get a feel for the general sequence of events. I'm totally serious about this, and it easily takes priority over fanfiction.

Not to say that I've stopped reading the stuff, of course. Goodness, no. That would suggest that I've gotten a life.

Again, if you want some semblance of an actual journal, check out my Gaia journal. My idea of "journal" is, however, mainly consisting of random stuff that pops into my head and amuses me enough for me to feel the need to write it down... or type it up, as the case usually is.

So, like... I just realized it still said I'm 18. Seeing as my birthday is still in July, I've been almost exactly a month slower in updating my age accordingly. Woohoo! Go me!
