About me: I am a single mom, a physical therapist by profession, I love to read and I love reading fan fiction. My current obesessions are Harry Potter fanfics and Smallville fanfics. My all time favorite author is Anne McCaffery. Oh, and that Tolkien guy. I love Sci-Fi and fantasy. I am very active at my church: I hang out with the high school youth group as a volunteer leader, I act in dramas and plays, and I've written several plays. I don't know if I will have time to write many fanfics, but I will try my darndest!

Shout out: I have to credit my gem of a friend Lorett for her role in getting my first fan fic up and posted here. If it wasn't for her powers of persuasion (and boot to my backside) the story would still just be swimming around in my head. Her continued support of all my stories and ships has kept me motivated, even when Real Life has threatened to swallow up all my writing time!

A brief dissertation on HP Ships: Most of my fanfic author friends happen to be D/Hr shippers, and they also happen to be darned good writers. I fully credit them for my tendency to hop on board the H.M.S. Dramione more often than not! However, I am not a diehard rabid devotee of any one particular ship. Sure, I have my favorites: Lupin/Tonks, Draco/Hermione, Harry/Hermione... but it is far more important to me that the story be well-written. I'll read just about any ship (not slash, though) as long as the story is crafted well.

The latest and greatest news: I have updated "A New Definition Of Family!" I have posted Chapter 25 of ANDOF titled: "Submerge." Teaser for Chapter 25: The Second Task is at hand, and will Harry master the Bubble-Head Charm? What really happened to Fleur under the lake? Rinna thinks Sirius is taking too many risks. Viktor fears he made a huge gaffe with Hermione. Rinna and Harry clear the air, and Sirius makes a decision that will affect them all.
I also posted a short Viktor/Hermione story: "Falling" This is a snippet from the new Chapter 25 of ANDOF (see above) but stands alone as a little fluffy piece. Summary: It is the Sunday after the Second Task, and Viktor realizes he’s done a poor job of communicating his intentions to Hermione. (rated PG, spoilers for GOF only, warning for pure, unadulterated fluff)
"Anger Management" won Runner Up for the "School's Out--Best Post-Hogwarts" category at the Dramione Awards!(http://community.livejournal.com/dramione_awards/) It also was previously nominated at the Dangerous Liaisons Awards for Best Reunion Fic before that awards site went defunct. I am writing this Draco/Hermione story as a birthday present for my dear friend Lorett, who has bugged, wheedled, harangued, harrassed, browbeaten, cajoled and begged me to write one for quite a long time. I've posted a Viktor/Hermione story! "A Matter of a Lifetime" This story is actually made up of snippets from my larger, multi-chaptered, epic-proportioned (and quite likely out-of-control) story titled A New Definition of Family. It occurred to me that I had a nice little story arc for Viktor and Hermione occurring among all the other pairings in that story, and that it just might stand on its own.
My only drabble, which was done as a challenge (because I tend to be wordy): "Garden" is H/Hr sweet fluffy romance. Please check it out.
