Author has written 7 stories for Lost, Pirates of the Caribbean, Phantom of the Opera, House, M.D., and Twilight. Alright, so my name is Kelsey and I'm 18 years old and I am in the second semester of my freshman year of college. I have only been writing fanfiction in the last couple of years or so, since my friend Rachel introduced it to me. My favorite past times are reading, writing (although I've been slacking on that a lot lately), playing on my laptop, sewing, watching tv and movies, and hanging out with my friends. I also love animals, especially horses, big cats, and birds of prey. I'm working towards a degree in zoology, and I want to work at some sort of wildlife sanctuary, especially one that specializes in big cats or birds of prey. Right now I have a dog (cocker spaniel named Tessa), a cat (a short-haired tortoise-shell named Snickers), and a chocolate-colored African hedgehog named Lily that I just got about four or five months ago. I'm completely in love with her, she's so cute. . My favorite color is blue, and I'm addicted to chocolate and Pepsi. I can be either really immature, usually around my friends, or I can be serious and quiet, usually in class. I think I'm still at least half little kid inside, because I still love a lot of the things I loved in my childhood. I don't see any reason to grow up too fast, so I'm content to keep loving cartoons and such forever. :) I used to be a huge Orlando Bloom fangirl, but I have since gotten over this and become sane again. :p A little more about me... Birthday: March 2, 1990 Country: United States Hair: Blonde-brown Eyes: Hazel. They're my best feature, I think. I wear glasses, and I'm hearing impaired. I have no hearing in my right ear, and I have about half of normal hearing in my left ear, so I wear a hearing aid in the left. I've been hearing impaired since birth, and I've had a hearing aid since I was three and a half. Also, some of my nicknames are: Happy Slug, Gummy Bear, KelsKels, Little Kelsey, Shorty, and Midget. Favorite Movies: I got a lot, but these are the main ones: REPO: The Genetic Opera, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, the X-Men trilogy, Men in Black 1 & 2, Kingdom of Heaven, Troy, the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, the Harry Potter series, V for Vendetta, Van Helsing, Mean Girls, The Green Mile, Get Smart, Twilight (half of the attraction of the movie is making fun of it), The Breakfast Club, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, The Dark Knight, Mamma Mia, The Lion King, Brother Bear, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Tarzan, Mulan, Sweeney Todd, Rent, Enchanted, Juno, Pride and Prejudice, Becoming Jane, Penelope, Sweet Home Alabama, Hairspray, Moulin Rouge, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Diary of the Dead. Favorite TV Shows: Family Guy, American Dad, House, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Big Bang Theory, That 70's Show, Futurama, The Jeff Corwin Experience, just about anything else on Animal Planet, Spongebob Squarepants, Fairly Oddparents, Life With Derek (surprisingly good), iCarly (yeah, I like it. leave me alone. lol). And I also still love a lot of old school shows that aren't shown anymore, like Hey Arnold!, Rugrats (only the old episodes), Pokemon (only the first 150), Angry Beavers, Boy Meets World (god, I miss this show), Full House (yeah, I know it's corny), and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Favorite Books: Basically, I like anything that would be classified fantasy. If it has magic, dragons, griffins, and stuff like that in it, I'll probably like it. I also enjoy books that detail a different way of life, like historical fiction and such. I like anything written by Tamora Pierce, I have all of her books that she's written so far. I also like the Harry Potter series, Lord of the Rings (I like the movies a bit better, since the books are a bit hard to read), the Inheritance series, the Pendragon series, the Royal Diaries series, the Twilight series (Yeah, I'm now aware of how creepy and rather annoying Edward is. I like Jasper waaay better.), the Dragonriders of Pern series, and most of Stephen King's books. I have my own mini library in my bedroom. I counted the other day, and I own 462 books. :D And I've read at least 400 of those, I think. Favorite Music: I listen to mostly country music, it's the genre where it's easiest to understand the lyrics without needing to read them. I also love soundtracks to musicals and Disney movies. My favorite country artists are Taylor Swift, Faith Hill, Joe Nichols, Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Shania Twain, Gretchen Wilson, Dierks Bentley, Billy Currington, and Martina McBride. I also like Weird Al, Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync (Go 90's!), and Mika. I also love the soundtracks to REPO: The Genetic Opera, Mamma Mia, Beauty and the Beast, Sweeney Todd, Camelot, Tarzan, Brother Bear, Spirit, The Lion King, Rent, Moulin Rouge, Avenue Q, and the songs from Family Guy. Favorite Fictional Characters LotR: I really like Legolas, although I think this is just a leftover from my Orlando fangirl days. I also love Merry and Pippin. Harry Potter: Gotta love Harry and all his teen angst. I still kinda like Sirius, but I've also realized what a jerk he is sometimes. I love Oliver Wood and wished he played a bigger part. He was such a cutie in the first movie! And I am in love with the twins now, they're just all around great. I also love Remus Lupin, and Mad-eye Moody. X-Men: Logan and Bobby Drake House: Well, of course House. Gotta love those cynical, sarcastic old jerks. . And Wilson's cute, but in more of an "aww" way. He's still got a boyish face, lol. And I'm not really into girls, but I have to say that if I was, I'd totally be in love with Olivia Wilde, who plays Dr. Hadley (13) in the new seasons. She's so pretty. Twilight: Jasper's my favorite guy in the books, and he and Alice are my favorite couple. Jacob is alright in the second book, and for part of the fourth book, but he's so f-ing annoying in the third one. And I have to say, if I'd been Bella, I would've been just as pissed to find out he'd imprinted on my baby. I wouldn't be as good at sharing Nessie as she seems to be for the most part. I also have to say that, now that I've gotten over the initial swoon that Edward usually induces, I've realized how dangerously overprotective and over-obsessed he is with Bella. That would be so annoying, plus in real life, it's usually the signs of an abusive boyfriend. So yeah, I don't really like him much. Favorite Quotes - "Life is like a train coming straight at you. And I figure you can either start running when it's way off in the distance...or you can pull up a chair, crack open a beer, and watch it come." - Eric Foreman, That 70's Show - "Would you like me to describe it to you, or would you like me to find you a box?" - Legolas to Gimli, Lord of the Rings- The Two Towers -"Proud? Are you crazy? All those times I could've died, and I didn't manage it? They'll be furious..." - Harry Potter, I think you know what books - "There's no need to call me sir Professor." - Harry to Snape, imagining Snape's expression is by far the best part! - "This is night, Diddykins. That's what we call it when it goes all dark like this." - Harry to Dudley - Harry: So light a fire! Hermione: Yes...of course...but there's no wood! Ron: HAVE YOU GONE MAD?? ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT?? - Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone - Harry: And what if I wave my wand and nothing happens? - Chelsea: You ooze positivity! - "If you have time to lean, you have time to clean." (Sheldon, from the Big Bang Theory) - "Okay, Mom, when a boy reaches a certain age, the baby voice no longer comforts him. It urges him to kill." (Eric Forman, That 70's Show) - "You're going to be bad for business, I can tell." (Satine, from Moulin Rouge) - "What you wanna be married to me for, anyway?" - "It's what life is, it's a series of rooms, and who we get stuck in those rooms with, adds up to what our lives are." (the rape patient on House, episode One Day, One Room) - " singing I like pancakes, I like pancakes, they make me a happy Peter, I am happy, I am happy, la-la-la-la!" (Peter from Family Guy) - "You can have all the faith you want in the spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. 'Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways." (Dr. House) - Eragon: It seems a cold world without something...more. - Elizabeth: There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing. - "The sands of time cannot be stopped. Years pass whether we will them or not...but we can remember. What has been lost may yet live on in memories. That which you will hear is imperfect and fragmented, yet treasure it, for without you it does not exist." (Brom, from the book Eragon) - " Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. carves V into poster The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. giggle! Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V. o o o o o o o o 'If you saw the movie Eragon and think that FOX should NOT be allowed to make Eldest, copy this into your profile...' o o o o o o o I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian. I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman. I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights. We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time. I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room. I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me. I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again. I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear. We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men. I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me. I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male. I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men. I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that. I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual. I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didn’t have to always deal with society hating me. I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind. I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.
