My Writing:

Sometimes I feel like a good writer, sometimes I feel like a horrible writer. It just depends on the day. And the fic. And my inspiration for it. I've been writing since the fourth grade. I know, that seems like a silly thing to say, but whatever. I'm not so much influenced by author's writings as fanfiction author's writings because they tend to be a lot more creative in style and flow. I have no style or flow yet, so I try to mimic such things from other authors. Any author in my favorite author list has somehow inspired my writing and many of the stories on my favorites list have proven to be some inspiration. I've noticed, though, that most of the stories that inspire me are Avatar Zuko/Katara ones because they have be written in an original style or else they get overlooked. When I get my own flow and style, I'll be the first one to inform you.

Five Things I Hate In Fanfiction:

1. Kagome is NOT a universal character. She most definitely does NOT go with every character in every book/anime. In fact, most would want to kill her.

2. Summaries that state that a certain character has come back 'changed'. Quite personally, right then and there I want to know how much a character has changed, because isn't it everything packaged together that make you love a character?

3. Spelling mistakes. I'm not talking about small ones, like mixing up their and there, or accidentally separating certain words, but fanfics that make you feel like you're back in third grade. Yuck.

4. PWP? Stories that go nowhere for about fifty chapters (see my own Caught in the Dust), only get two characters together.

5. There is a difference between a Mary Sue and an OC. One is perfect, the other has flaws. If your OC has flaws, do not call him/her a good Mary Sue. Because that's an insult to your OC.

Suggestions for Reading:

My favorites list is quite daunting looking, but I can assure you that each and every piece on it is wonderful in its own way. There are multiple fandoms on it, with many genres (mostly romance, though). From cute one-shots, to long epic tales, you can pretty much find whatever fix your in. If you want additional reading, I'd check out my C2, which has the fics that aren't quite favorites of mine, but not nearly horrible. Sometimes I put a story both on my favorites and in my C2. And if you're brave enough to go though all of that and still need more, my alerts list has stories with potential that hasn't quite been reached. Want a story for a fandom? I could probably find it for you.

Favorite Characters

Miriallia Haww- Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny- For some reason, she's the only character that I constantly find cool. She has her breakdowns, she proves that she is smart (she does do communications for the Archangel), and she does the right thing. Her personality is something I felt should have been explored more, though. Plus, I loved the scene where she tries to kill Dearka, then saves him from Fllay, that renewed my interest for the entire series because I never saw anything like that ever happening (not the pairing, the fact that she practically threw herself in front of a gun).

Sango InuYasha-She's a strong character. She's really the only female who openly fights and gets hurt, instead of sitting around moping that her brother is Naraku's pawn, she tries to do something about it, and she's mentally strong most of the time. After all, she had to deal with her entire village being killed.

Kiba- Wolf's Rain- There really isn't much to say about Kiba. He's just one of the coolest wolves ever created. He's young, but he's the leader of his 'pack'. He's strong and keeps pushing for his goal. The only bad thing about him overall is his 'love' for Cheza. I hate Cheza with a passion.

Hiei- Yu Yu Hakusho Who doesn't like a badass? He doesn't really realize it, but through the series he makes comments which could be taken as hilarious. Example- Kuwabara looks at Hiei's arm and asks what happend. Hiei- 'It wouldn't obey,so it had to be punished.' He's strong, he's mean, he wears all black and has pointy hair. What's not to love?

Rock Lee- Naruto- Lee is my all time favorite character in Naruto. He may just be my all time favorite character period. People make fun of him because of his appearance, but seriously, if he looked different and dressed different, people would love him. He strives to be the best in the shinobi world when people said that he couldn't even do anything. He cares for all living things, he protects those he loves, and he is strong. He did break Gaara's sand armor thing. He never stops trying. I, in fact, started crying when I read that he probably would never be able to be a ninja after the chuunin exam. But Lee-san will strive to become better (plus, he still has to learn the drunken fist).

Ironically, after creating a bunch of Luna/someone stories, I realized that I completely hate her as a couple and think she's better off alone. And as for Sirius/OC, I've only read a couple on this site... for the rest I head over to harrypotterfanfiction.net
