Author has written 24 stories for Harry Potter. 5.03.08 I've tried over and over again to work on all of my old stories, lain dormant for over two and a half years. And, unfortunately, I've come to a conclusion that some of you might not like very much. I cannot finish them. Yep, I said it. I have admitted defeat. In the past three years, I have changed too much to ever see the world in quite the same way I did before - to ever think the same way I did before. So now... my voice is different. As I'm not the same person I used to be, I'm not the same writer, either - so everything's going to be different. With time and effort, I may be able to bridge the gap and complete some (or even all) of my WIPs, but right now, I think I need to explore myself as a writer today. I haven't been writing much in the last three years - maybe it's time to start. So, as of today, all of my WIPs are officially on hiatus. I have no idea when or if I will ever work on them again, but in the meantime... There is a story that has been rattling around in my brain for about five years which I was never in the right from of mind to create. And now I'm going to try. It's a Founders-era novel that will, if I am successful this time, span from the creation and founding of Hogwarts to the departure of Slytherin and what follows, and then jump to Dumbledore's defeat of Grindelwald, through the first war against Voldemort, and finally, to a completely AU Harry-Potter era story. The working title for this series is "The Knights of Avalon," and I have not yet decided on a title for the first book of the series. Ambitious project, but I think I can finally handle it. I suppose we'll find out, won't we? So watch for a new posting, and I hope those of you who choose to read my latest insanity enjoy it.
