Author has written 61 stories for Transformers/Beast Wars, and Captain Scarlet. Guess I should put something in this then. I'm a self confessed Transfan with a preference towards G1 and leanings in the direction of Captain Scarlet. I'm a proud New Zealander, and an eager fanficcer. I'm female, with a favourite colour of the green variety, and I love some of the great work here. Catcha later! Edit: Ok, this is something that is getting annoying. It's great that you folks out there like my work and add me to your favourite story and author lists, but when you fav a story of mine I'd like to know what you like about it and you didn't click the square for it 'just because'. Granted, I'm not at all good at replying to reviews, but good reviews that critique the work are what authors live on. Edit 2: This is something I'm getting very tired of, so let me spell it out for everyone from America. I'm from New Zealand, that little cluster of islands on the other end of the world. We actually have the audacity to do things differently down here, so you're going to see slightly different grammar and spelling to what you're used to. Now stop flaming me for it! Critics are like eunuchs in a harem; they know how it's done, they've seen it done every day, but they're unable to do it themselves. Edit 3: Well, what an interesting phenomenon this is. I have received PMs and reviews telling me that I haven't been flamed and to stop whining about it. Allow me to explain one or two points. You don't see what gets sent over PM and the most recent flames I was sent were duly reported and removed. For some reason I, like most people, don't take too well to being sworn at, insulted and belittled. In the world outside of the Internet, this kind of behaviour is known as bullying. I do have to wonder however, if the screens were taken away and we stood face to face, would the same words be said or would you decide not to speak? As I have told people before, I welcome honest critique- which is a holistic analysis of someone's work- good points, bad points and suggestions on how things could be done better. You might be surprised how readily people are willing to listen when you couch things in polite terms and with respect, rather than go on the warpath and attempt to tear them to shreds out of a sense of grammar Nazi, Internet vigilante style 'justice'. | |||||||
