"Tell me one thing I should know about you. Just...just one." - The Blind Side

Well, I plan on telling you more than one thing about me, but you get the idea. This is the internet, nothing much specific, but at least one thing worth knowing.

First of all, call me Dest or Desty. My preference depends on my mood. I'm a graduate student, one more year left before I get my degree. The most exciting/interesting thing in my life is ballroom dancing (don't scoff until you try it!). It's really a lot of fun and good exercise.

Unfortunately, I'm a terrible author. I have a great imagination and people tell me I tell excellent stories...it's jus the whole writing them down and posting them thing.

But it's summer now, and I'm attempting to make a plan. I have an internship during the week that essentially takes most of my time, but! I am making a goal to try and write on the weekends.

Which means, I hope to start updating "Five British Kids Out in the Country" (name to be changed, cause I just don't like that) soon. I want to draft a couple of chapters before I start posting anything. But, hopefully, I'll have something to start posting. And fair warning, I'll probably repost the entire story. I've rewritten the introduction/first chapter and I just want to start with that.

Besides my Narnia story, I'm considering a new Iron Man/Avengers story. I say Iron Man/Avengers, but it's really a Tony Stark story. It just happens to take place during all the films including Tony. I won't start on that until I get something going for FBKOC thought. It's the same idea, I'm adding a character to the existing story to change it up. I love imagining how people, places, and instances can change with one small difference (I've rewritten HP the same way with a couple extra characters...another thing I need to write down).

I would also love to write a sequel to Star Trek...so that's on the list. And I already know what adventure I want Kirk, Spock, Bones, Scotty, Uhura, etc. to go on.

Basically, I have a lot of inspiration, just gotta find the time.
