Author has written 7 stories for Harry Potter, Bible, and Fairy Tales. I, piratesswriter, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I enjoy, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, or anything else. I have joined the Review Revolution. I'm piratesswriter because... well, it's a funny story, actually. I was about ten when I wrote my first "story," a 50-page piece of garbage about a pirate and, well... the name stuck. Oh. That's not funny, is it? Oh, well. About me... ah, soy de los Estados Unidos de America, y me encanta hablar en español... I like to speak Spanish to annoy my brother, even though I don't speak it very well at all - I just take Spanish III at school - but I'm trying to improve. So yeah! More about me... I'm a bit (my friends would say VERY) neurotic, dramatic, and do have occasional moments when I cease to understand what is going on. I really want to be a writer when I get older, but if I can't do that for a living, that's fine - I write mostly for myself, and the feedback from all you lovely people on ff.net is good enough for me. And the last little snippet (the most important, I think) I am a Christian, and I'm trying to live my life as one dedicated completely to Christ. And I (to borrow another's phrase) flagrantly abuse semicolons. I really don't know why I like them so much, but in any case, I beat them into the ground. My Stories: Nothing's Wrong With Me In Harry, Ron and Hermione's last year of Hogwarts, their newest DADA teacher proposes a talent show for the students. Luna, sick of being teased, decides to show everybody what she's got... This little piece I wrote three years ago is basically the result of an obsession with the HP series and the Disney Channel movie Pixel Perfect. It was my first story posted here, and I remember having just signed up and being disappointed that I couldn't post anything for three whole days. :-) I was so happy when I got my first reviews. Ah, those were the days... Love Stinks Hermione is suddenly hit with love and doesn't know what it is or what to do. ONE SHOT. I wrote this in about fifteen minutes in the library at the school where my mom taught... hmm. I was experimenting with a character called Peaches, and I wanted her to continue over into some other pieces, but it did not work out very well, and poor Peaches ended up stuck at Hogwarts. This is my second (completed) HP fic. Pathological Insomniac She had to sleep. She had to, but she couldn't. Because he was there, in her dreams the horrible accident just as it might have happened. Only God could help her then... Hmm. Looking back I see the grammatical error in the summary - yikes! :-) This is, without a doubt, my most controversial piece on the site (wow, I sound like a grown-up writer! haha, just kidding). For whatever reasons, a lot of people harbor anger towards Christians and those who don't believe what they do, and sometimes, those people feel compelled to let us now by way of rude flames. I say this: if the piece sucks, it sucks. So, please, tell me it sucks and why so I can fix it. Don't tell me you don't like my writing just because you don't agree with my beliefs. Not So Alone Remus contemplates his place in the world. Oneshot. Angsty. This fic is now A/U because of Deathly Hallows. I've always thought it was interesting how (SPOILER WARNING FOR THE BOOK!) the Marauders died in reverse order, but, of course, I didn't know that at the time. I just felt so sorry for poor Remus Lupin, all alone and sad. Of Quests and Magic When flirtatious Princess Ari and clever Lady Marielle uncover a plot, it’s up to them to save the kingdom from a wicked king. Toss in an acerbic warlock and a shy nobleman, and what do you have? A tale of comedy, romance, and a little bit of magic. Told in alternating points of view. Ah, my favorite! This story started when I was talking to my friend and her (now ex) boyfriend. I was talking about TMP (yep, we're down to acronyms), and told them that I would give them little cameos in it. Like, girl-in-the-blue-dress-with-a-mention-of-an-inside-joke sort of cameo. But somehow, it snowballed, and my friend wanted to be a princess and wanted her boyfriend to be the princess's boyfriend, and I ended up with my 340-page baby novel. So, yes, Ari and her love interest are based off real people. However, based is the operative word with Ariana; they're really two very different people... his character, on the other hand, is as accurate as possible. So... yes! I hope you enjoy my stories, and please, please, please leave me reviews. I really enjoy getting positive feedback, of course, but I love getting constructive criticism. Seriously. It's one of those things that you think you don't like, but really you do. Also, I need to know what to work on so that the next of my tales will be better-written, better thought-out, and have more realistic characters. And if you actually sat here and read my profile, then I thank you from the bottom of my heart. --hands virtual chocolate chip cookie-- Enjoy!
