Hi, I'm JennMel and I live in England. According to my friends, I'm a bit crazy and get hyper very often, but it is blatantly their fault. I am in my final undergraduate year of university, reading Egyptian Archaeology, so fanfiction writing may decrease in regularity during termtime - sorry. I also own a house rabbit and love rocky music. My friend Chemical Nova is also a great writer, albeit slightly psychotic (she loves me really...). And i-escaped-reality has also finally started writing some great Stargate stuff, so I recommend you check them both out :) If I'm honest, I don't really operate with a proper beta system for the fics I write, although I realise I really should, as it's pretty hypocritical to be a Beta myself... Chemical Nova is the person I bounce ideas off, and who puts her foot down against some of my rather ridiculous spur-of-the-moment ideas, but I usually just proofread my fics multiple times myself for the mistakes. In other words, if any errors slip through, they're my fault. My ambition when I created this account in 2005 was to write at least one fic for every fandom I read. The list has increased over time, but I'm still hopeful, even if it turns out the majority have to be oneshots. I also have a Beta account, if only to pass along the one message that speech marks are your FRIENDS. Seriously, nothing more annoying than finding an amazing fic that doesn't use speech marks!!
