Hmm...what to say? English major, opera
singer, musical theatre lover. From the deeeeep South, but oddly
lacking in accent or Southern qualities. I guess that about sums
me up.
Interests/Obsessions:
Musicals of every shape and description. I'm currently enamored of The Last Five Years, Amour,
Bat Boy, Wicked, Avenue Q, Parade, Tick, tick...BOOM, Dirty Rotten
Scoundrels, A Light in the Piazza, Songs for a New World, The Wild Party, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, My Life with Albertine, Thou Shalt Not, and many, many more.
My list of favorite books/authors could go on for days, but here are a few highlights: Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, Possession (I seem to have a thing for p's), The Blind Assassin, Harry Potter, Wicked, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, anything by P. G. Wodehouse, etc.
I'm also obsessed with Crossing Jordan, Gilmore Girls, House, M.D., Rember WENN, and The X-Files
( Jerry O'Connell, Scott Patterson, Hugh Laurie, and David Duchovny -
it's like one of those children's exercises about "Which one does not
match?")
I like to sing, act, write (naturally), read, and generally confuse those
around me with my utter weirdness.
Writing:
I've been writing for years, but I'm relatively new to fanfiction writing,
as you can probably tell by my short list of stories. I tend to
write when inspiration smites me about the eyes, so my updates can be a
bit sporadic (sorry about that). I'm currently working on a Crossing Jordan
au that I'm having no end of fun with, and I'm waiting for my muses to
return on my Wicked story (Sorry to anyone who's waiting for an
update. It just refuses to be written). Happy Reading!
