Hello, the name is Sarah and I'm glad to meet you.
I'm a young female collage student with a vivid imagination and too much
time on my hands. I live in the States, but after I graduate I plan to
teach overseas in
Ireland.
I've been in love with the country for ages, and want a bit of adventure before
I grow up (if I ever do...)
I love nature and animals, and have a pair of idiot cats who also double as
my editorial staff (blame the grammatical errors on their ever-present desire
to sit on my keyboard). I'm an artist and a poet, but my real passion
right now is songwriting. I sing at any given opportunity, and play a
couple of instruments to boot. I adore history and English, along with
fuzzy socks, boys who read, and a good cup of hot coco.
I am a pretty decent editor (if I do say so myself), and love to collaborate
with others, so if you are ever looking for a beta you should feel free to look
me up.
As for my stories:
Of Lead and Silver and The Linen Road are two
unfinished pieces based on Leroux's book, Phantom of the Opera. I have
lost my motivation for finishing them, but they were interesting scratchboard
pieces to try out.
How High the Moon is my brand-new baby, and my first Harry Potter
fiction. The idea has been stewing around my head for quite some time
now, and I thought it ought to be set free. It is the first time I have a
really clear vision for an entire plot line, and I am deliriously excited about
it!
Just a Piece of Glass is the working title of my newest brainchild. An offshoot of How High the Moon, it will be my second Harry Potter piece. Since I may wait until after Deadly Hollows is released before finishing this story it may not run exactly parallel to its precursor, but that also means that you don't have to read HHtM to understand this plot. Whether or not I end up posting the final piece will depend heavily on reviewer support, so if you are interested you should mention it in a review on How High the Moon.
Enjoy!
