Author has written 25 stories for House, M.D.. I've got some fics that have been WIPs for a very long time. To address them now. Some Days Are Worse Than Others. I'll probably finish this one. It's near the original ending I've had in mind from the beginning. I can't say it won't take me another year to get the words down, but I do intend to finish it. Of a Thursday. I don't know about this one. There's a lot about it that I love, but it's at least 40,000 words from any real sort of ending, and I just don't know if I've got that in me. The Perils of Coming Home Early. I hope to finish it. Wouldn't take very much to do. It's very difficult to write, though. The two other, much shorter WIPs: Shorts will get some sort of wrap up, but it was conceived as a series of short pieces which would never have to end, even if it does have a plot of sorts now; What Folly Reason... I don't know about it either, though I would like to wrap it up. One of my favorite poets has written, "I write what I'm given to write." I've found this to be true, especially in its opposite: I don't write what I'm not given to write. That is, I don't have it to write. So I don't know how these will turn out - a heads up for anyone who doesn't like WIPs. | |||||||||
