Tip #1: Don't cry over spilt ink. It would have tasted a lot worse than milk.

I dream of those other worlds and places where life is enchantingly complicated, more honourable, and where there is still room for noble deeds and great quests; a world in which even a misfit might become a hero
-Isobelle Carmody

About the author: the author is an idealistic, closet romantic and a terrible daydreamer with a bit of an overactive imagination. She has the tendency to sometimes disregard capital letters and has the strange habit of talking about herself in third person. She is prone to making typos and not realising it and has a penchant for ansgty one-shot fics involving lots of in depth character introspection. As can be deduced from the pronoun, said author is in fact female and of an age where she is not yet legally allowed to drink alcohol or have her own credit card. In her spare time, when not being prodded by her muse, the author enjoys other relaxing activities such as reorganizing her bookshelf and cleaning her room. No, just kidding. She is actually very into her music and currently enjoys listening to The Maine and The Plain White T's. She loves YA novels, fantasy, detective novels and literature (and will not begin a list of her favourite books because then you would be here reading this for days). Her favourite films include comedies, action movies and chick-flicks. She may, at times, disappear from the internet world at length but messages forwarded to her email or through her lj will most likely meet her ears (eyes?) at some stage. Other than writing, reading or listening to music (which are not hobbies so much as, say, vital functions) her hobbies include sleeping, cooking and collecting notebooks.

Important notes

About updating: Yeah, I really really try but life happens to get in the way sometimes. Meaning, basically, I suck. I attempted to keep to an regular, weekly, updating schedule once. It lasted for about a week.

But everything will be finished. Eventually. I promise.

About writing: OK, so when I started writing these stories, I was about fourteen and I'm- let's just say I'm older now. In regards to writing, I'm so terribly sorry but I lost steam for a while (long, long while) and I'm only now really starting to get back into writing (just before my big final high school exams. Great timing no?) Anyway. The point is, I've decided I'm going to revamp the whole lot of them, starting with Waiting For Spring. I'm even thinking of changing the title because I don't really remember what it has to do with the story at all.

So. The revised and edited version will be back up soon. Really. Maybe in a year or two. Kidding. It'll be up soon. Thanks for reading! =)

Fairy tales are more than true; not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten
