I'm on hiatus, all together, because life generally sucks.

My name is Rachel. I don't see why people have a problem giving out their names on here. What is someone going to do with a first name? Anyway, I am a pretty layed back sixteen year old. I enjoy drawing, singing (I love it.), and reading. (I don't get to do it very often cause books bore me most of the time.) I really love anime and manga. Besides karate, it is my passion.

Speaking of karate, the other activity that I love. Shotokan Karate is very dear to my heart, I don't know what kind of person I would be without it. Seven and a half years of my life dedicated to it. I am constantly at the dojo training for my next degree. Currently I am a second degree brown belt. (Two more degree to the big ol' black belt. Yipee) I am a commerical martial artist, which means that I compete in tournaments around New England. I have been to the Quebec Open, Battle of Maine, Friendship Tournament, NASKA Open, IPPONE Championships, SMART Results Tournament. More then that, but I have a bad memory. I'm a NASKA and IPPONE champion in my divison (16-17 red and brown belts)I think the reason I love anime and manga so much is that it unltimatly boils down to martial arts. No matter which anime you watch, or manga you read you'll find it's roots in combat.

I teach little kids at my dojo, their eleven and twelve now. I remember teaching them when they were little six and seven year olds. Their like my extended family.:)

Okay, enough karate talk. I love singing. My idol is Kelly Clarkson (haha, Idol.) I love her voice. She is magnificant, her voice is truly incredible, I think. I would love to have her gift. My favorite song is Beautiful Disaster.That song blows me away.

I started to write about two years ago. I don't really know why I do. I don't...really enjoy it. Silly, eh? Then why am I on this site? Honestly, I have no idea. I do it when I'm bored and inspired, which isn't very often. I write pretty fast and don't have dificulty doing so. I am overly obsessed over anime, so I get in moods where I have to write about my fandoms. haha.

I love animals. I am a junior in high school right now and I plan to go to Unity College for Wildlife Conservation. It's been a dream of mine since I was a little girl to save/help animals, and I hope I can get the proper education to do so at Unity. I love horses and big cats, espescially panthers.

All I watch is Animal Planet. Day in and day out. It's a little on the pathetic side, I suppose,and when I'm not watching Animal Planet I'm watching the History Channel, as I was (still am)a history buff. I am a huge fan of Jeff Corwin and watch The JeffCorwin Experience and Corwin's Quest all of the time.

Compeleted/OneShots

Know Your Stars: This was a tester fic to see if I could manage a successful 'know your stars' fic. It came out relativly well. When I looked in the FMA section for 'know your stars' fics, I found a small amount so I thought I'd give it a go.

Coincidence: People seemed to enjoy this one, and I'm glad. My sad attempt at humor. So I'm not much of a humorist, sue me! Yet, who wouldn't love Zuko and Aang trapped in a room for an undisclosed amount of time:P

Group Therapy, Anyone: My brother helped me with this one and next to Going Back, It's my favorite. I adore the DBZ characters in this little one shot.

Fragments: Alright, so I'm not much of a poet, but I had an urge to write about Aang's feelings. (I do that a lot, don't I?) It came out well and I liked it, so I'm going to keep it up for the time being.

Battle of Thou Trenchcoat: Kaibas' coat has always bothered me. It just has. How the heck does it stay like that? I mean really. My friend said there are probably wires in the cloth. Feh,he's just trying to make himself seem bigger and tougher. :P I've never seen a fic quite like this one and the idea popped into my head one somber night when I was still obsessed with Yu-Gi-Oh!

Avatar: The Last Airbender: I truly and utterly love this fandom. It's not an anime, but by my standards it should be. It's amazing, and I am so glad two minds in the world were blessed to come up with it. I am in love and intruiged by Aang. He is a wonderful character. I am also fasinated by airbenders, the Air Nomads were so interesting.

That's what the thing is for. I am sick and tired of girls under 13, spazzing out on me when their not even old enough to write on this site. Got it? So if you're a fanbrat that can use spell check and doesn't even know what canon is, then don't take your inexperienced crap out on me.

Hmm, I've been thinking. I'm not going tobe so picky anymore in my reviews. I'm not perfect, and I think that everyone deserves a chance.
