Author has written 13 stories for Charmed, ER, and South of Nowhere. Hi kids! Well about me, I'm a big fan of the girl-on-girl slash, which is pretty damn obvious to anyone who's read any of my fics. Most of my slash fics focus on Phoebe & Paige, from the fabulous girls-kick-ass show "Charmed," though in my AU world they are NOT sisters. Sometimes the whim strikes me to write a non-AU fic, and these are usually cheesy sister-bonding stories. I have also recently discovered the BEST SHOW EVER that is currently on the air, and that is South of Nowhere. I wish it had been on when I was in high school!!!! Basically I like girls a whole super lot, and that's the essence of what I look for in fanfic. I also wrote an ER slashfic for Neela and Abby on a whim, because they're my two favorite characters on that show (OK I admit it, I only started watching when Parminder Nagra joined the cast! But can ya blame me?) Fanfic is such a guilty pleasure for me, because on the one hand it's like a diversion from the more "serious" writing I could be doing in my real life as a grad student of Media Studies; but on the other hand, it's a forum where I can work out all my bullshit in the safe world of fantasy, and I think that's very healthy. I've been writing fanfic since before I even knew what "fanfic" was, before the internet even; I remember watching My So-Called Life back in 10th grade and dreaming up all kinds of scenarios for Angela and Rayanne to hook up...! So really, it's an outlet for something that's already there, at least for me. And everyone needs a hobby, hey? | |||||||
