As a note I am giving him the name Liam Lawliet as a "real" name. I am aware that his "true name" according to canon is just L Lawliet, I have theories on his true name that can be found on this journal In order of timeline: "Secondary Sources" (Dec. 1985) L as a six-year-old who gets chicken pox, but nothing is ever normal even for this kid. Originally started as a one-shot but I have a few ideas for how to continue. "The One Alias" (March 2000) This lays out the basic story of L's past. I was originally going to make this a one shot but I've been getting some story alerts for this one which is inspiring me to add more to it. "Red Hands" (Nov. 2002) A prequel of sorts to Calculated Risks where the events of Another Note take a strain on L. "Calculated Risks" (May-June 2003 with flash aheads to 2009) After the events of Red Hands, L takes a constitutional that ends in the bed of a male artist. NOTE: An interpretation of Trevor Skye's intimate painting of L was done by Luvelia at deviantArt for a kiriban. Click the link to check it out. "Moment of Silence" (Nov. 5, 2004) My first DN fic and and what is essentially the last ride for L. More will be added in various timelines and I'm also toying with the idea of writing an "alternate ending" timeline. Death Note/Vampire: The Masquerade crossover A storyline I've had in my head for a while that I have every intention of expanding on: the plotline of DN, except with a huge twist. This is completely AU. "Rules Regarding the Undead" Matt is a vampire and learns someone else is as well; a someone who will drag him into the Kira case. Forgotten Realms Note on Rogue Kings and Phoenix Brothers: The Spellplague never happened. Both these stories follow their own timelines. Vhaeraun is alive and staying that way. The Rogue Kings and Phoenix Brothers series are now hereby AU. Let's just say in this universe, reports of Vhaeraun's death are laughable or started by the Masked Lord himself. Regardless, canon stops at the end of War of the Spider Queen and goes no further. Vhaeraun is very much alive and will stay so and I refuse to acknolwledge 4th ed canon. Jal Vin'ult L'Orbdrinus Senger! Another note on Rogue Kings post-Road of the Patriarch: The plotline will reflect that book up to the run-ins with the Citadel of Assassins, the dragon sisters, Caliyhe, and King Gareth and friends. Then the rest of the book doesn't exist, that includes the exact details on Entreri and Jarlaxle's pasts. The Ballad of Salmryn Do'Urden "Siren's Cry" Purely experimental fic mixing horror, action, and some Drizzt mpreg goodness. Story officially complete, though a sequel is in progress. "Legend of the Phoenix Brothers" Salmryn Do'Urden is now a grown man and getting himself into a lot of trouble, especially with a fellow student with a rather famous father. Note: This story is on hiatus due to a lack of inspiration and getting other muses, though I'm not saying it'll never be expanded. The Adventures of the Rogue Kings "The Lesser Evil: Hooligan's Holiday" Lil Elg'hasek zhah elghinyrr, verve dro lil Shebali Qu'ess The Ranger is dead, long live the Rogue Prince The assassin, the mercenary, the fallen hero: The Rogue Kings are back...and Faerun shoud be very nervous. FINALLY FINISHED AS OF MARCH 2008! "The Lesser Evil:" One of the most storied heroes of the land takes a dramatic turn after a series of personal tragedies make him reconsider his goodness. The story that started it all. Now finished. "The Cruelest Fate" I had to write this, really had to write this. Behold my attempt at trashy slashfiction: this is a sequel to "The Lesser Evil" where Drizzt and Maz "get aquainted." I will update this sporadically whenever my sick twisted muse strikes. "The Rogue Prince" A series of journal entries and random snippets from Drizzt as an evil SOB. A little idea I had a while ago that will be updated periodically. "Friend in Shadows" The story of the most fateful night in Mazn'reysla's life. Two part story If anyone is interested in seeing an artist's interpretation of Mazn'Reysla, the priest of Vhaeraun, check out a really cool sketch by my buddy euphorbic and a great kiriban done for me by Tionne Dawnstar. "The Three Kings" Collaboration with Ariel-D, the Rogue Kings on adventure...unfortunately for all of them. On a lighter note... "Midsummer:" The hero, the princess, the scoundrel, the elf maiden, and the venerable priest; what happens when fates collide on one amorous night. Now complete. "The Green Skirt" I literally completed this piece in two hours and it turned out pretty good. A one shot follow-up to "Midsummer" where Drizzt continues his experimenting. "Eye of the Mercenary" This is a little one-shot I couldn't help but do. If anyone wants an easier shortcut to Darrkest Drow's piece that inspired this story, click the link. And Because I'm Insane... "In Dreams" Take "The Lesser Evil," "Midsummer," and "Siren's Cry." Mix them all together. Shake well. Here you go. Basic concept; Drizzt from each story has a dream with elements of the other two stories. All hilarity ensues. "The Mark" A hundred years after the Spellplague, Drizzt finally meets some likeminded drow, though their initiation ritual is a little painful. Random... "People Watching" One-shot Inuyasha fic where Naraku gets bored and tries to amuse himself; let the bodies hit the floor. "A Very Merry Sabbat Christmas" Vampire: The Masquerade fic. Toreador antitribu Louis St. Vincent and his two cronies find the perfect opportunity to break the Masquerade: Ho ho ho. This fic is currently dormant due to the tidal wave of reality that smacked me after I first posted it, though I promise to finish it before the end of the year. FINAL VERDICT: Tag it, bag it, it's not happening. I've paged through what I have so far, tried to retool it, and realized the main reason why I never finished it: I was really never inspired to write it in the first place. I might disect it and take elements for another Vampire fic, but the concept itself is gone. If anyone has any ideas for this fic, please review.
