Author has written 60 stories for CSI: New York, Andromeda, Numb3rs, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Stargate: Atlantis, Thoughtcrimes, and Doctor Who. Only a few find the way. Some don't recognize it when they do. Some... don't ever want to - The Chessire Cat, from American McGee's Alice. Stealth Dragon I be (a.k.a Melissa)! But I go by many other names. Silent Coyote, Queen of the Beasties, and for some odd reason Menushes. Contrary to popular belief, I am not insane... I'm obssessive without the compulsive. I am an English major/artist and normally a writer of fantasy with the occasional science fiction on the side, all with lots and lots of wonderful, unpredictable action and weirdness involved. My sources of inspiration can come from anywhere, but I find movies and television shows the most helpful. Sometimes, if a show doesn't inspire me to write a story of my own creation, then I will think up episodes for a show, mostly just to pass my mental time until I can think of something of my own. Among my favorites that, thankfully, have not been cancelled, are - CSI New York, Andromeda, Stargate, Lost, Numbers, Medium, NCIS, Without a Trace, The Simpsons, Stargate Atlantis, Prison Break, Supernatural, Yu-Gi-Oh! Xiolin Showdown and whatever comes along that catches my fancy. I find writing stuff based on these shows as good practice and a way to expand my horizons beyond fantasy. Ack! FYI (like anyone cares) Stealth Dragon is the name of a space fighter in one of my stories that has yet to be written. Why I wanted to point that out, I have no idea. Can't help but dig that crazy chick's style. Best TV character ever (in my opinion) - Liam Kincaid from Earth: Final Conflict. There was just no killing that guy off. Best scenes ever - When Danny Messer leaps like a cat to snag a guy trying to climb a chain-link fence - CSINY When Harper licks Becka's hand because she's covering his mouth to shut him up - Andromeda When Obi-Wan tries to kick General Greivous' legs out from under him, and ends up only hurting himself - Star Wars:Revenge of the Sith. When Lincoln bites the guy he's cloned after - The Island Eep! Story types I will not do - Slash, Romance, certain types of cross-overs, anything sexual. I also tend not to read said story types, and will stop reading should such things pop up - though romance, sometimes, is given an exception as long as nothing sexual is involved. Blah! A few favorite bits of dialogue from here and there Ah! The diabolical dice. A word of Caution, don't throw them when you're alone. The fiends lack loyalty and their notion of nourishment is quite disturbing - Chessire Cat, from American McGee's Alice. I find that sage advice for anyone with demon summoning dice. You look more of a meal than a man - Lizbeth, from Clive Barker's Undying game. I just found that comment amusing. Now where has the little bloodletter gone off to? - The Mayor speaking of Giovanni, from my own story Dimensia, of which there are only snippets of at my home page. Warning! Not for the faint of heart. I don't cuddle - Danny Messer. Dang straight my man! What, you think I can just shut this off? - Danny Messer. During a very short stint of depression (that went away, thank goodness) I found this statement very poignant. Smeeeagol. Why does it cry, Smeagol? - Gollum, LOTR. Well, Smeagol? Answer the question. It's an animal thing - Riddick, Chronicles of Riddick. Monsters unite. Malcolm - You wanna run this ship? Jain - Yes! Malcolm - Well... You can't! - From Serenity. Hee-Hee! (may not be exact) I swallowed a bug - River, from Sernity. That's why you never fly in an open-air hover craft with your mouth open. You kick like a nine year old girl - Reid to Hotch, from Criminal Minds. Once again, Hee-hee! Idiot! Gosh! - Napolean Dynamite. I find myself quoting this one without realizing it.
