Author has written 24 stories for Harry Potter, Inuyasha, StarTrek: Voyager, StarTrek: The Next Generation, Phantom of the Opera, Star Wars, Rurouni Kenshin, StarTrek: The Original Series, Yu Yu Hakusho, Lord of the Flies, Sandman, Doctor Who, Death Note, and Firefly.

Le'letha…

…believes things into reality.

…is pronounced leh-LEH-thuh: omnivorous bookworm, lifelong Trekkie, and fanwriter.

…has a fleet of starships inhabiting her desk.

PROS: speed-reader; sensible; imaginative; good memory; devoted to things she believes deserve to be devoted to; loyal; religious (liberal Roman Catholic); good student; works for her own spending money; organizes; terrified of alcohol/drugs; can shut up, can’t swear to save her life.

saw Star Trek: 2009 the Thursday before it came out—and loved it!

CONS: often vague; occasional complete space-case; lazy; procrastinator; antisocial; solitary; sometimes depressive; spiteful; hypocritical; not always in tune with the world; sarcastic; vengeful; paranoid; not to be let loose in a bookstore with too much money.

…if annoyed, will put her book down…maybe…probably not…

EITHER/OR: obsessive; nitpicker; organizes compulsively; fantasize-r; night owl; lesbian—and not ashamed of it; bookworm to the exclusion of other things.

…fell in love with Star Trek at five years old and has never looked back.

Things That Annoy Me: Crossover/OC romance; ridiculous pairings or plots; plagiarism; idea snitching; writing or stickers in books; people who dog-ear pages; most of my age group; how much anime, books, DVD box sets, and graphic novels cost; homophobes; racists; instant-message-speak; text messages; online social networking sites; iPods; Bluetooth attachments. Because I’m just weird that way.

…denies everything, and believes that everything is true; these statements are not always contradictory.

I’ve noticed it’s a tradition on the Internet to pretend that you’re insane. I won’t claim to be, but I’ll stay up from first dark to long past dawn to watch all six Star Trek: The Original Series movies or entire seasons of Doctor Who at once. So you may pass sanity on my judgment as you like.

…thought she was crazy…until she came here…

What I’m Working On Now: (slowly) Crossover oneshot. Should be lots of fun.

Memory Alpha: Masterpiece Archive: If one of your stories, alternate or original universe, oneshot or epic, is included in this c2, you’ve nailed the plot, setting, and/or characters as well as or better than the original. (‘Memory Alpha’ is the planetoid in the Trekiverse containing the biggest library in the Federation.) On that note! Star Trek fans! Go read SonOfTed’s brilliant Star Trek stories; he is a genius writer and I’m not just saying that!

To everyone who has asked about A Time for Pizza: Ye gods! It was a throwaway, people! Not that I’m upset with the attention, of course. (Wow!) I had not planned on continuing it, but… keep asking, and you never know.

…was once told she was obsessive, and wondered why anyone thought she didn’t know.

Personal Rules:

Reading: Take the good with the bad and use mindbleach sparingly. Each story has four chapters to sell me (unless it’s just bad). OC or crossover romances are out. I do have a soft spot for a few slash pairings, and a few (mostly canonical) straight pairings. I don’t need to put a list here—you can probably figure them out by looking at my favorites list. I read A LOT and all over the map.

Writing: Someone (grayangle) once told me: “Other things just have to be done before your readers’ enjoyment. Going to get something to eat is a good one; the bathroom is another. Bathing & friends are over-rated at times.” I’m a student, cut me some slack. If you point out any mistakes, I will beat myself up more than you ever can and then change whatever the problem was. In the words of the window washer…all will be made clear. I love this saying; I wish I had made it up.

Reviewing: Universal Rule Two: DLDR: don’t like, don’t read. Don’t ask about Rule One. (Terry Pratchett joke!) Constructive criticism is appreciated. I like to reply to reviews. Flames will be dealt with by the flame police. (Le’letha grabs a fire hose) Lock and load!

…keeps at least one foot in the Dreaming at all times.

Obsessions/Fandoms/Interests

Star Trek: The Original Series

Star Trek: The Next Generation

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (NOTE: my family and I had the privilege of watching the entire series straight through this last school year, thanks to a very generous teacher. A fantastic experience.)

Star Trek: Voyager

Star Trek: 2009 (NOTE: WHOOO!)

Doctor Who (9th and 10th Doctors, although I’m brushing up on my ‘Classic Series’ history (NOTE: don’t tell me anything with the word ‘eleven’ in it lest I scream and cover my ears. I’m not there yet, okay! And I’m deeply attached to Ten. ...Oh! And Eight. I am fond of Eight. Do you have any idea how much money I'm spending on those books?)

Torchwood

The X-Files (NOTE: just started it Christmas 2008—it’s turned out to be one of those things I go around saying ‘what did I do with myself before I met these people’. It's now a family obsession; we're watching every single episode in order, a couple episodes a night. We might actually own and have watched all nine seasons by Christmas 2009. I might add that I'm funding this...)

Jonathan Kellerman’s Alex Delaware mysteries (NOTE: Alex made me want to study psychology. I owe this guy.)

John Sandford’s Lucas Davenport mysteries (NOTE: and Virgil Flowers too!)

Rurouni Kenshin

FullMetal Alchemist

Death Note (NOTE: blew my mind. Still does.)

Terry Pratchett’s Discworld

Neil Gaiman, especially The Sandman

Star Trek: Enterprise (NOTE: under ‘fandoms’ because I’m just not very familiar with it. No one has offered to loan me the entire series yet. I live in hope.)

Firefly

George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire

As well as:

Yu Yu Hakusho, Inu-Yasha, Diana Wynne Jones, The Chronicles of Narnia, Sherlock Holmes, His Dark Materials, Erin Hunter’s ‘Warriors’, Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield, Foxtrot, ‘Classic’ Sci-Fi (Asimov, Clarke, Heinlein, etc)

And the list goes on…

…says TALLYHO! and laughs.
