Author has written 9 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Phantom of the Opera. Suilad! I'm Slina, and I love writing, which is a lot of why I'm here. One of my friends, "Sarah Crawford", also has an account here, and I'd love it if you go check out some of her work! My three favorite fandoms would definitely have to be Lord of the Rings, Phantom of the Opera, and The Chronicles of Narnia (congratulations for it's win at the Oscars!). Some other favorites include: Star Wars, Beauty and the Beast (both Disney's versionand the original fairy tale), Ella Enchanted (both movie and book, and any of Levine's other books for that matter), and The Giver. Favorite pairings: In Lord of the Rings, I generally support any canonical pairings. For Phantom of the Opera, I'm primarily an E/C shipper, but I'm also a supporter of R/C; I also like any other canonical pairings. In Narnia... well, I like any canonical pairings, but I'll read some Lucian or Polly/Digory if done well... even the occasional P/OW pairing, as long as it's realistic and the OW isn't a Sue. In short, I generally like, or am okay with, pretty much any pairing as long as it doesn't completely contradict canon or require characters to be OOC, isn't slash, doesn't involve a Sue, doesn't involve inter-species or incest (yes, I'm talking about Narnia fics with that one), or isn't just plain wierd/wrong. (And no, I never write slash, nor do I have any desire to). And I should probably let you know where my fics are at: Alone in the Dark - No, I haven't forgotten about this one. I was planning on finishing it, but at this point, I'm thinking it would be easier to just start over with a complete rewrite. I'll probably just leave it up until the new one is finished to help prevent really long delays next time around. Mistaken Destination - For anyone who happens to be interested in this one... Sorry, I promise I haven't forgotten this one either. Once again, however, I really don't like where it's at right now, so rather than finish it, I'll just be doing a complete rewrite eventually (hopefully sooner than later). All my one-shots and otherwise completed fics - Yes, they really are completed. No, I have no plans to continue any of them. I've already done that (The Sacrifice was originally written as a one-shot, but was later extended to a 10-chapter fic), and I didn't particularly enjoy the experience, so I have no desire to make another attempt at continuing a completed story. You can review and ask for updates if you want, and there's a vague possibility that I'll decide to continue the fic if I happen to think it's worth it, but if it's marked complete, that's very unlikely to happen. | |||||||
