FP: Final Prophecy; a Harry Potter roleplay website of which I am no longer a member. Hyposity level: Similar to hyperactivity level in normal terms, the level of hyper I reach in any particular point in time. Illyism: An expression or phrase utilized by myself or followers of Illy fanfiction. MB: Muse Bunny; a forum for original fiction, fanfiction, and poetry writers. Mean Girls Syndrome: The affliction when a plotline--especially a well-written, entertaining plotline--decelerates in a particularly slow manner, so that the story has several places where it could end but just keeps going on in order the fill a certain quota . . . or just because it does. The Olympics: A writing contest of FP (see above) for which a few stories have been written. OOH: On the Other Hand; a long-standing and currently inactive (due to personal issues) romance Harry Potter fanfiction. I can’t bring myself to delete it, but I’ve sort of given up on ever finishing it. It went into editing a while ago, and never really came out. Reading it depresses me. Passions: The greatest show in the history of ever. QM: Queerest Match; see OOH (ironically, this isn’t a slash story). Writing Marathon: A writing contest of MB (see above) for which Trembling Game was written. A little bit about me: Location: Usually in my own little world. Otherwise, I live in a tiny town in Southwestern Ontario. Favourite Movies: Sweeney Todd, I Capture the Castle, and Legally Blonde. Favourite TV Shows: House, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, The Office, Corner Gas, Ugly Betty, and Friends. I actually don't watch much else. Favourite Radio Shows: I used to listen to Tucker and Taz religiously. Now I just don't listen to the radio all that much. Because Regina Spektor is never on it. Favorite Authors: Sarra Manning, Terry McGarry, J.K. Rowling, Gregory MacGuire, Jodi Picoult, and all the people who sent postcards to PostSecret. Books I'm Currently Reading: In between books right now while I await some new Picoult books from a friend in Texas. Favorite Music: Anything and everything. I live and breathe music. Favorite Songs (or songs that I could listen to forever on a deserted island): Braille - Regina Spektor Favorite HP characters and ships: Luna Lovegood, Nymphadora Tonks, Voldemort, Bellatrix Lestrange. Canonical ships--Lily/Severus (one-sided, but still), Lily/James, Harry/Ginny, Remus/Tonks Non-canonical ships--Draco/Ginny, anything involving Voldemort. I'm up for any ships outside of Hermione/Ron (I am a proud member of RHYTHM), actually. Bring on the fanfiction. Major Fanfiction works: On the Other Hand is the only story I've managed to hold on to for a very long time. The Queerest Match, which I inadvertently titled in a very slashy way, is another large piece, but it has been abandoned. Things Not Allowed At Hogwarts is a group effort story of which I am quite fond, and I have also created a drabble series called Flashes of Beauty. My all-time favourite of fanfiction I've personally written, though, is Request #637. It is, however, a mere one-shot. About On the Other Hand OOH is a story dear to my heart, based on the romance of Voldemort and an OC. It currently has 40 chapters and still has plenty to go through, but it's at a bit of a standstill at the moment while it undergoes a complete overhaul, because I started it in grade six, when I lacked a fair amount of writing experience. UPDATE 07/14/09: Changed my mind. I'm not continuing this for personal reasons. Every time I try to edit it I feel angry, and I can do better than that. About "Things Not Allowed At Hogwarts": This is one of my favourite little ditties. It's not a story at all, but rather a collection of rules that one might break at Hogwarts. TNAAH is a roundrobin story, and I must say that I was delighted to discover the incredible humour of people around me. Only two or three of the chapters are written by myself, and credit to the rest goes to individual authors. I would certainly suggest reading these, and I'm always accepting contributions if you're in a strange mood. Reviews - please leave them. Honestly, I can always do with a review.
