Well, due to FF.net getting picky about their song lyric policy, I've pulled down "Don't Give Up" and "Take it Easy". I'll drop a link here when I figure out where the heck I'm gonna put them. And as far as FFN's policy goes: This makes no freakin sense! We're writing in universes that we don't own, using characters that we don't own, and they decide to get anal about using lyrics that we also don't own? C'mon, folks, this is just a little ridiculous. Oh, and if anyone knows a good fic host that isn't mediaminer (they don't encourage songfics either), drop me a line and let me know.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Taxzombie, Dennisud, Wonderbee, and everyone else who reviewed my stories in their admittedly brief life here on ff.n. Your feedback was much appreciated, and I look forward to doing it again in the future.
And last, but certainly not least, a huge thank-you to Innortal, who not only drug my muse out of her cave, kicking and screaming, but was then gracious enough to let her run away with me in a public forum. Thank you, sir, you are truly a gentleman.
Update 9 May 05: The kind folks at www.nabikiandranma.com are hosting "Don't Give Up". I still need to find (or, more likely, at this point) make a place for "Take it Easy" and any other songfic type things that the future may bring.

Update 3 March 06: "Take it Easy" is now available on ficwad. The address is: http://www.ficwad.com/viewstory.php?sid=10571 Ratings and reviews welcome. I haven't decided whether or not to put "Don't Give Up" there as well. Eh, we'll see.

Update 4 Sept 08: Well, it's been a while since I've updated this thing, hasn't it? Well, most importantly, due to the unfortunate closing of www.nabikiandranma.com, I've finally gotten around to uploading "Don't Give Up" to my ficwad account, which is available through my homepage link. A lot has happened in my life in the last few years, but I won't bore you with the details. Let's just say that one of these days, I'll sit down and actually commit to paper (electrons, whatever) the various drabbles and half-formed ideas for my epic that are in my mind. Some day. Promise.

A few pet peeves that I have come across in my various readings: 1) "dieing" is not the in-progress form of the verb "to die". The word you're looking for is "dying". "dieing" means to cut or stamp as with a die. C'mon kids, learn to use a dictionary. 2) "wondered" vs "wandered". This one really isn't that difficult. "Wondered" means to think about and consider, whereas "wandered" means to roam aimlessly. This isn't rocket science. It's sad to see so many people who claim english as their native language making such silly mistakes.
3) "Thru" is not a word. Damned lazy typists. The words you're looking for are either "through" or "threw". "Through" as in 'to go through a door' and "threw" as in 'he threw the ball'. It takes all of half a second extra to type "through" than it does to type "thru". 4) People who mix up "quite" and "quiet". Do any of you people actually read what you've written? "Quite" as in "I'm quite full", "quiet" as in "It's quiet. Too quiet." Sigh. This list just keeps getting longer every week.
