Author has written 5 stories for Metroid, and Mass Effect.

27, resident of metropolitan Detroit, MI.

I happily describe myself as an all-round geek, with interests including anime (notably Ghost in the Shell in all its incarnations), military SF (Battlestar Galactica and Stargate SG-1 top the list there), and video games (which you probably figured out by glancing through my 'stories authored' list). In my free time (snicker), I enjoy cooking and gardening, as well as just about all of the outdoor pursuits - hiking and camping, fishing, hunting, target sports (sporting clays, pistol and rifle target shooting, etc). In the musical department, I'll listen to just about anything except country, but I have particular soft spots for jazz, electronic/techno, and soundtracks.

As most of my writing features both military themes and medical science, I am frequently asked if I'm either a medical professional or a serviceperson. The answer is yes and no. I'm an emergency nurse (RN, BS Biological Psych, BS Nursing), with an eventual focus on anesthesia. Though I currently have no military experience, I have several friends and family in the armed forces, and am strongly considering the forces when I complete my training.

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy!

Completed Works:

Stumbling Toward Elysia. Set during the events of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. A look at what might have transpired between two of the galaxy's most famous bounty hunters in the years before the Phaaze Incident.

Greensleeves. A one-shot in the "Special Effects" universe. Eight years after the events of Mass Effect, Captain Jane Shepard returns home from her mission against the Reapers to discover several large surprises, and one very small one.

Works in Progress:

Electronic Intelligence. Post-Metroid Fusion. When the Federation authorities condemn Adam to deletion for his role in the B.S.L. Incident, Samus enlists the help of a young researcher to save him. Sinister purposes abound, though, as Adam's construct holds dangerous secrets - secrets worth killing for.

Special Effects. A series of humorous one-shots set in the Mass Effect universe. In which Jane Shepard, her motley crew, and one very flamboyant Mako save the universe from boredom.

Special Effects: CGI. The next generation of "Special Effects." Having defeated the Reapers, Shepard takes on a new, and perhaps more difficult challenge: parenthood.

Future Works:

Dial M for Metroids. (Working title, subject to change.) Post-Fusion. The crew of the Hunter III are recalled from probation to handle an assassination threat against the Prime Minister of the Federation. Meanwhile, dead bodies begin turning up in the capital city - bodies that have been completely drained of energy...

Updates and Information:

12/13: Well, that took longer than I anticipated - I had some minor things called graduation and boards to deal with in the meanwhile. ;-) Intelligence 11 is up, and that story is swinging into its final phase. Expect lots of action to come.

I'm planning on finishing the next CGI over the holidays, and hopefully will be able to get another few chapters of that banked up for future releases.

Thanks for reading, and I wish you all a peaceful and happy holiday season!
