Profile made January 31 2006, will be updated if needed.
Modified: 5/20/2008
Added some tags to show what projects I'm working on at this very moment.
The plot bunnies that are nagging me now. Stories that I may or may not finish but am likely to work on.
Already established stories
A family of idiots (TOA fanfic, pre-game, Asch centric) -Working on-
Faux fur (FF7, during game, Reeve centric)
Glass facade (FF7, game novel, Shinra centric)
Stories that aren't up yet but are in the books
Water and Scales (TOL fanfic, pregame, stingle/Alcott centric)
The Road of Irresponsibility is Paved with CatNip (Crono cross, during game, Harle and Serge centric) -Working on-
Anouncement: Shards of Regeneration is in haitus, whether or not I am able to get back to it.. well that's still pending. I need to make up my mind about it, however, I will not take down what I've written or destroy the Shards information in my profile. If I do go back to the story I'll need all the notes I can get.
Announcement2: Glass Facade and The Shinra Files are on hold as well... I need a little breather from the FF7 genre for a bit. (I also want some time to play Crisus Core undisturbed.) I plan to get back to work on those stories by mid-next month.
Quotes from upcoming Shards works
Sometime after Sheena joins before the seal of light -got this idea from Lil-Samu-
"You are telling me-" Sheena sputtered her eyes wide in shock. "-no one's ever told you about... about babies or what happens once a month..."
"No..." Colette blushed, stared at the ground. "I wasn't... supposed to be human long enough to need to know."
Kratos growled, shook his head in disgust. "The church of Martel has reached a new low in not telling the Chosen's of life."
"Human life." Colette corrected them all. "I'm... supposed to be an angel. From the day I'm born to the day I die I'm supposed to be an angel. So why should I learn about human life, when all I'm supposed to be is a being of heaven?"
"I... I can't believe... even I know about this!" Genis exploded. "It can't be right, no one shouldn't know about that.."
"About what?" Lloyd frowned, and all his friends -minus Colette- were looking at him in horror.
"You are telling me that you don't know..."Genis gasped.
"Know what?"
"And it looks as if I get to do it anyways..." Kratos muttered to himself, running a hand through his auburn hair. "Miss Sage... if you wouldn't mind I need to take Lloyd off your hands to have a little talk with him."
Raine nodded; then looked spectivly at the blushing Colette.
"I'll send Noishe to you after we are done with the talk on this end."
"The talk?" Lloyd blinked. "What do you need to talk about? You're not sick are you Kratos?"
"No... Not yet anyways... Come along Lloyden, let's go off a ways."
Kratos and Raine after Luin...
"Objectivity... miss Sage I've been beyond losing my objectivity for a long time, perhaps since even before this really started. The question is not "Have I lost my objectivity?" rather "Will I lose my mind"?"
Shivering Raine stared through the smoke wreathed air. The silence of night was broken by the sounds of the crumbling of a fire worn building, the cries of the few refugees, the sigh of the dying and cries of the living.
"Go, get out of here."
"And what, leave you to die? You will all die I assure you. You, the children, these people... Will you live with that much blood on your conscious, can you?"
Raine shuddered, looked away.
"I didn't think so. You aren't a monster like I am."
"A monster who had a human son, who takes another's son as his own..." Raine hissed, clenching her hands into fists.
"I only take what is my own."
"He isn't your son! Dirk raised him and we are his family! Iselia is his home! You have no right..."
"No, you don't have a right; you have no right to deny him his choice. He called me his father and that is the end of it."
"He was in hysterics, suffering from a mental breakdown."
"He's called me his father since Asgard, woman! Since Asgard! It's you who has no right, you damned interloping-!" Kratos slammed his fist into an unoffending tree, the bark and the wood under the bark crunched alarmingly from the blow. Panting the mercenary bowed his head, stared at nothing yet only seeing red. "-know this, no one will deny me my child. No one. If I must I will kill you, the Chosen, your brother, to keep him safe, to keep him from being hurt I would destroy the world with no remorse."
"If you did that... you would destroy him."
"Don't you think I know that?" Kratos let out a bark of a laugh. "It is only his presence and my goals that allow you to live... Don't ever get in my way, don't ever lay my hand on my child, follow those rules and I wont have to kill you. It's rather simple really... live or die... which one will you pick? Both have Hell, but at least in life there are others to share it with. In true Hell, Miss Sage, we are all alone..."
Potential upcoming scenes from children of the desecration (sequel to shards)
Yuan and Lloyd after the Tower...
"Angels, I'm surprised you still believe in them, still the term is one suitable for... convenience." Leaning against his desk the blue haired man stared into the wine glass that rested in his hand. "It so conveniently glosses over the reality of the worlds, over the blood, the pain, that this damned delicate balance demands." Lifting his dark blue eyes at last from the glass the half elf smiled at them all, then he paused, started at Colette. " 'Asaderi serre, derris ali, vesse askanan magni, magni'e' Hail sister, holy child, vessel of hope and light. So would the beings of heaven chant should she walk amongst them. I find it ironic yet fitting. Hope.. all hope is dead, and so too is it's vessel." Those sapphire eyes slid over to Lloyd and the smile twisted bitterly. "Welcome my friend, welcome to reality, welcome to Hell, to the great desecration of two world's faith. I am a man who spurns the light yet is one of it's own, and these Desians-" The man laughed. "-they too spurn the light and the order of Yggdrasil. Welcome to my humble little Ranch where I take no humans to torture, where no ex-sphere save those stolen grace my halls. Welcome and be seated, we have much to discuss."
Thsoe sapphire eyes hardened when Lloyd stubbornly remained standing.
"No... how can we trust... you're Desians!"
"No, we are Renegades, and we pose as Desians, nothing more nothing less. Now you can sit or my elite guards can break your knees and we can hope that when you crumple it will be in the chair. What's it going to be Lloyden?"
"How... do you know me... about everything..." Lloyd muttered as he sat.
"I'm more interested in the what your plans are." Raine said coolly from her seat.
"My plans are my own." The blue haired man growled. "As for how I learned-" his eyes softened slightly. "-as you learn now, disillusionment. We've both walked through that particular blaze, now we get to see something interesting don't we?"
"Something... interesting.." Genis squeaked, images of torture flashing through his mind.
"What's left, that's the interesting thing. What is left now that the world we know it is little more then a lie, and... what we do about that world and the people in it."
Zelos and Colette in Tethe'alla
The floor board squeaked, Colette lifted her head and stared at Zelos who was sneaking back in from one of his 'nightly entertainments'.
"Hi, Zelos." She smiled, set aside her book. "It must be awful cold and dark in the hall."
"Why hello my sweet little angel!" Zelos grinned, shaking off his skulking and shame in a heartbeat. "How are you tonight?"
"Pretty good."
Colette was still smiling, and Zelos had to wonder if she even knew what he had been out doing.
"So... uhh how's the book?"
"Not bad." Colette fingered the cover and Zelos took that as his cue to get his show outta there. "Zelos..."
The other Chosen paused by the door, a little startled that Colette actually wanted to talk to him, none of them really did. "Hmm what is it hunny?"
His tone was filled with wicked seduction, it had made hunnies fall at his feet and had lead to hours of fun for him before...
Colette didn't respond to his tone like all the other girls did, didn't seem to hear what he wanted.
"I... won’t tell Sheena for you."
Zelos blinked, totally thrown off by that one.
"What?"
It came out in a tortured rush, and by that alone he knew that the feeling of being watched when he was leaving wasn't totally in his head. He had been watched, by the eyes of a child, and knowing that he felt unclean.
"I won’t tell Sheena that you went out again, I know it's wrong because it's lying and Mart- lying is wrong, but I think it;s wronger when Sheena cries. But I don't know... I don' know anymore what's wrong or wronger or even right... How can I? Without the Goddess is there a right or wrong I just... don't know"
Zelos stood in the darkness and looked at Colette in utter helplessness as she cried...
Potential upcoming scenes from blade of eternity (sequel to children)
Botta, Yuan, and Persea
"Live or die, it's come to survival now, and I swear to you it will be live. If it costs me my life my Lord then I will gladly pay that price, so long as others have their chance to live."
"If all the world holds to that Lord Botta, then the world would be habited by corpses." Came the static marred voice from the glowing magi-tech box.
"I imagine not Lord Yuan, for if everyone came together to battle eventually the foe would be defeated."
"The key word -of course- being 'eventually'."
Botta only laughed and hiding in the darkness Persea had to wonder why.
"Concerning death Second... don't die Botta, don't die on me in this, that's an order."
"I'll do my best my Lord Yuan, but if not then Aroo-"
"You've said you will do your best, I trust your best, you don't need to enlighten me on whatever gestures you've madefor the unimportant "what if I fail scenerio". Perhaps to celebrate a mission well done you would like a vacation eventually?" Botta laughed and a dry chuckle came from the box. "Of course key word being eventually eh?"
"After all of this Sir, when we are done we can all take a long vacation, a lifetimes worth."
"Yes... I look forward to seeing you in Triet after this is over Second. Yuan out."
"Aye, good luck on your mission Sir... Botta out."
There was a click and Botta still smiling slid the small box into his packs. A renegade walked up to his commander.
"Aroon, I want you to get out of here, you're the only man who can take my place if this fails. We can at most give you an hour."
"Yes sir." Aroon saluted. "It's been an honor."
"Agreed, it's been an honor, service and life is all the honor a man can ask. Move out, take Rystl and Kain with you I'll meet you at Triet if I can."

READER'S REQUEST: Yuan's ring (I need to find the quest about that though, before I do it)
That should then be the end of that... this list isn't complete, honestly from the top of my head but it sums up my notes well enough for the Shards series and off shoots.
My Tales of Symphonia works (Sorted by character and order that it is meant to be read)
Kratos, Aurion familycentric (All stories in this catagory are filled with major spoilers)

Double Edged Sword (finished)
(short stories that occure during DES timeline: "Nightmare", "A Question", "A batch of brownies", "A couch in the Forest", "First words", "Defining Home")

Zelos centric stories (All contain late game spoilers and reviel my ending choice for "Shards")
A shot of ice
For love of my Sister (Rated Mature for a good reason, whilethere is notraditional reason for it (gore ect) this is a story most children could not grasp and is not at all suited for them)
Sheena centric stories (mild spoilers for first disk)
Sunlight filtered through the trees (I need a better title, this story is on hold, I'll finish it when more ideas come)
Yuan, Renegade,centric
Defiance: Birth of the Renegades (Complete. The last three chapters are bourderline Mature, that's the only warning I've to offer.)

Archive: before the angels came (Lloyd and pre-game children centered -meaning Lloyd, Colette and Genis, some Noishe and Raine fics as well)
Tales of Symphonia in-game stories
Shards of Regeneration: (First book of a series... this is a massive undertaking on my part to novelize the game without spoilers. YES,YOUREADTHAT RIGHT, NO SPOILERS! You learn the plot with the characters if you skip the marked sections that ID spoilers! I did not do a script re-write, a lot of stuff is added, some taken out, characters are currently in Asgard fighting the "Spirit of Wind" and the chapter count is twenty two)
Stories within stories (or rather Shards)... These one shorts all occur during Shards and contain spoilers or ideas that came post or pre ofa chapter submition that for one reason or another wouldn't fit.
Kratos' reflections: (first TOS fic I ever wrote, it's no longer considered in the Shards genre but I put it up anyways to show my growth asa writer)
At the Seagull Inn: Humor... some Kratos bashing and Lloyd fluff in Izoold...(set during chapter 9)
Grief: Angst... Lloyd must deal with the death of a childhood friend, he finds comfort with someone who's lost almost as much as he has... perhaps even more. (set after chapter 16 before 17)
Ablue feather: Reflective... After the tower the world falls to peices, and the key to all the answers might lie in the finding of a blue feather. (exert from second book)
Snow day: Fluff/Reflective... Snow teaches some valuble lessons, but mainly it's for snow-ball fights! (real near end game... right before the Falnoir scene)
Forgotten Legend: No genre... (recaps game in the game's opening format, really cryptic)
Tales of Abyss section:
A little Faith: Mieu centric, post Akzeriuth. "It wasn't Master's fault..." he forced the words past the taste of blood in his mouth and the throbing of his little skull... Yet, in the silence, Mieu undersood... no one would believe him, no one would forgive.
Then, she was gone: " aAsch Natalia centic, set in Sheridan. It was awkward for him to show even the smallest amount of affection. His life was marked by too much loss... too little hope. But he tried, and she needed, and with a gift, maybe the man they called "the bloody" actually succeeded.

Twilight Bonds: (Twilight Princess spoilers abound. An archive/dump for Midna Link oneshots.)
The Guilty and the Innocent: (A serious Pokemon fic centering on an unlikly and strained Giovanni/Professor Oak friendship. Slight AU as some facts in Giovanni's life are altered for the sake of the story.)
Two Paths to One End: Continuation of "The Guilty", after breaking from the Rockets, Giovanni settles in pallet, but not all scores are settled, and debts owed to the past will be collected.
Show of Faith: Prequel to "The Guilty" just a collection of chapters dealing with Giovanni's past before he became the boss of Team Rocket.
Stairway: The vice president of Shinra was a man of many secrets. Yet the most damning was that he was human... and that one seemed lost in the redoubling steps of a long forgotten stairway. Shinra/Rufus/turk archive set around the "endless" stairway.
Non TOS game stories One shots
Tormenting the Tormentor: (Saw one shot, little in the way of spoilers.)
The Dying's Worth: (Small spoilers for Advent Children, Rufus centric. The president of Shinra considers his worth, even as he slowly rots from withen due to GeoStigma.)
On the Boards (a group stories I have floating in the back of my mind I'm likely to publish soon)
Absurd: TOS yuan renegade centric piece.
A Family of Idiots: TOA fic, They called him Cardinal since he wouldn't give them his name. But one night, while on watch Noir wondered... what did that child had meant when he said "they took my name away"? The answer, when it came, would shake her world.
Flicker: TOA fic
A thousand peices: TOA luke centric. Uncomfortable he sat in the chair he'd normally lounged in with a tense air. He'd asked... no begged to see them in private. He had something to tell them, and whatever the secret was it was ripping his soul to shreads. Looking first to her, then to Duke Fabre, Luke licked his lips, and with a shudder began his tale. "M.. No... Lord... Lady Fabre... you need to know something... about what happened almost ten years ago..."
The Asch Anthology (as one of my reviews called it), this is notes more for me than for you. I'll put them all in thier proper slots when I get more computer time.

Line of Impiety: Just a quick glimpse into Asch's life in Daath, it centers around a ritual but offers snipits of his past actions in the church. The story is little more than an outline really, but it's readable as a story despite being a character building exercise. (finished)
Flicker of judgement: A two shot (if that's even possible), just some interaction between Asch and Natalia after the first visit to Zao ruins scene. (This one's still in the editing folder.)
Highest Destiny: Asch's perspective and actions during the fall of Akzeriuth. Basically a novelization of the events in the game, with some twists to offer some variation. (Still in the editing folder, title's also a working title, it might change)
From Yulia to Daath: A story dump centering around the trip from Yulia city to Daath. (In Progress)
A Million Pieces: A Luke centered Asch piece, where Luke tells his parent about Asch's existance and what really happened during the Akzeriuth disaster. (Still in the editing folder)
And Then, She Was Gone: Novelization of the morning meeting of Asch and Natalia. Just some romantic fluff between Asch and Natalia. (finished)
Bloody Abyss: A in game novelization, starting from mushroom road and hopefull going to the end of the game. My PS2 has been acting funny, so I don't know if it's going to have enough of a shelf life to pull me through the whole project... (In progress)
